Hello, all!
Long time no…anything! I wanted to apologize for that. I do recall mentioning that the end of the year would be a busy time, but I still want to say sorry and that I’m alive and well, just busy with college applications. I haven’t had a ton of energy to write, but I’ll try to get the chapter 2 updates done in January. Those updates include adding stat changes, Carris changes, overall writing/pacing changes, adding in some more positive/neutral choices, taking another look at RO meetings (particularly their energy), making your personality choice matter more, and other stuff.
I can’t give a good estimate on progress because I write best without stress/pressure and it’s a stressful time, but I still jot down ideas every couple of days and think about the story, even while inactive on the forums. I probably won’t post any more comments until the updates are finished, but I’m here!
TL;DR don’t hold your breath but it’s coming. Thank you so much for your patience and for reading!

I’m enjoying this story so far! But would you concider adding another male RO? The current options don’t appeal to me (and almost feel too similar in personality). If not, then is it possible to complete the story without romancing them?

If i remember correctly i think the author had an idea about the mc being like half blood human if we wanted to i think it’s mentioned in one of the first comments.
Found it comment 34 or 35.

Once the story is finished, I have considered adding two extra RO’s, but I’ve gotta see where my workload lies as is. To keep it even, I’d like to have one female (Luce), one male (Carris), one gender choice (Kiyo), and one NB (Gwen) RO! However, your concerns are not unfounded, and I’d absolutely like to differentiate the RO’s as much as possible as you say! I’ll work on that for this update right now! Regardless, yes, you do not have to romance anyone should you not want to. Thank you so much for commenting!

Good evening, all! Chapter two update is finally here–super minor, nothing to go crazy about. Changelog is up there, but the most notable thing is that Carris is fixed and turned out far more how I’d like for him to be. I might go back in and change some things up about all the first RO meetings later (they’re all a bit quirky for my taste), but not now.
EDIT: I went back in on 2/25/23 and did the stuff I just…forgot to do. I wasn’t running on enough sleep…I’m so sorry!! It’s done now!
I got a new job that I wasn’t expecting, so I haven’t had time to write But, I’m trying to get stuff done where I can, little by little! I appreciate your continued support. I hope even if updates are spaced, it can be a fun little surprise every once in a while to check back in on.
Just as a bit of a tease, when I do start chapter three work, shit hits the fan, so prepare yourselves!

Embarrassingly undecided about that. I have ideas for both outcomes, but human would probably be easier and it’s what I already planned for. However what’s easier doesn’t really matter, what’s more enjoyable does. If you all gave me your current opinions on it, maybe I’ll finally be able to make a decision
