Heart of the dungeon I was part of its discord mildly and it’s been almost a year since we were supposed to get a partly playable game if nothing else answers on what happened would be nice

I just recently moved around some files on my laptop, and saw that I had apparently backed up some WIPs before Dashingdon went offline. Totally forgot about that folder lol. But you know what I have forgotten to back up? Which I regret so so soooo much?
Those Betwixt. It had scratched that VTMB itch that the CoG’s World of Darkness games could not completely scratch, you know?
I have forgotten to back up other fave WIPs, but that one was the true One That Got Away for the Dashingdon era. It has joined When In Rome and Team Zero as merely existing in my memories…

I would really love it if the The Changeling Exchange by Jonas Skye was brought back! Sadly the demo on Dashingdon doesn’t work as Dashingdon was shut down. Any chance of this being brought back or the demo being posted on Cogdemos just for old time’s sake???
Have to ask they author of their mind rehosting it on cogdemos of they’re around

Hmmm, that’s a good question.
“The Odessa games” would be a fine start, I can’t find the author these days, but again, I might be searching in the wrong places
“A mage reborn”, that one never got a sequel to finish the saga I believe.
“Guinevere” had a cool premise and I can’t have enough of Arthur myth retellings/inspired tales.
And of course "Team Zero.
Not from COG but '"The speaker” a itch Io game would be on my list of revivals

I’m not 100% sure it’s dead, but I would love to see more of Fervency. I absolutely fell in love with it, and honestly I still am, but the author suddenly deleted their tumblr blog back in February and they’d stopped posting on the forums a while before that, so I have no idea if they ever intend to come back to it.

I would really like the Changeling Exchange by Jonas Skye to be continued again!! Or at least have the old demo available again on Cog demos to play for fun. It was soo good!! Unfortunately, it looks like the author is currently not available to be reached at all. I couldn’t find out if they’re still active or not. So I guess this demo is just gonna be living in my memories now sadly.

So, having thought of this randomly today, I went back hoping to relive good memories, only to discover the dashingdon being down in favor of replacing it with a new site(rather than performing maintenance and restructuring?) has taken it away from me forever. I regret not being tuned into things enough to have seen this and gone to collect screenshots while I could. I remember quite a few of the vampire scenes, from the different blood drinking scenes (hot cocoa from the motherly servant, or directly from the same aged one) to a confrontation with Chantel, to the scenes of running with the werewolf. Other characters escape me.
The idea of multiple protagonists in the same environment and your character getting to choose them and interact with them remains a compelling narrative exploration option, though I know it is also an involved one. None the less, I feel compelled to bring it up again here, in hopes that someday something similar will be done with it.
RIP Victoria. Your story was brief but compelling and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I hope Fervency isn’t dead. It did get put up on COG Demos, but the topic closed over two years ago. It’s so good, I really hope it gets picked back up.
There’s also Love Bites, which I like the writing for a lot, but I think Covid ended it. It doesn’t even seem to be up on COG Demos.
