Th first interaction with Quinn happens in the present. The second interaction with Quinn happens during a flashback.
You might need to add something between going the living quarters and the flashback i think
Would you please elaborate on this? As it stands, several things take place between the two interactions. Was this not the case during your play through? If not, what was the last dialogue that occurred before skipping to the next interaction?
Organic Manipulation power reminds me of prototype the game you could be unstoppable with that power.
After talking to the people in common area the last option is to go to living quarters after that Quinn shows up introducing themselves
Quick question when does the flashback begins at
This is as it should be.
The majority of the first chapter is done as a flashback. At the beginning of chapter two, your flashback is interrupted by Quinn in the present. After that interaction, the flashback resumes. It may be worth noting, that the flashback portions are written in past tense.
Oh okay thank you for clarifying.
@Nomad33810 I am always happy to make any clarification. Thank you for taking time to provide feedback!
My main objective in this update, is to seek feedback on the interactions with the ROs. I must admit that writing romance has never been my strongest skill. Did the interactions feel natural, or forced? Did the ROs provided seem sufficiently different from one another? For clarification purposes, the RO’s at this point in the story, are Quinn, James, Karma, and Anthelion. Bear in mind, that they will all evolve with the story, and their attitudes towards the MC may change based on the chosen route. As always, all feedback is appreciated.
Personally I enjoyed karma the most she just reminded me of that person you meet at school who is really nice and kind to everyone around her even if she may have some skeletons in the closet so to speak. The reason she caught my attention is the fact she just seems way to nice. But I worry that a relationship with her will go one of two ways
-
She will be against really hurting people in anyway shape or form except in times of self defense or if we have no other option
-
Secretly she is really angry and bitter and if you enter into a relationship with her I could see her being very possessive including using her powers to hurt those who she thought would threaten what you to have and be willing to hurt anyone and do anything to make sure you two will be together.
Personally I think it would be interesting if the second one was the case as their aren’t many ro’s like that. By overall I know we only just met her but I found her the most compelling followed by Quinn I think you did a really good job with showing how different each of them is. And how they all seem to be a little bit more than meets the eye.
Thank you for your response! I am very pleased to see that the complexity of her personality is apparent.
Hmmm… I don’t suppose an Absorption or Gravitational Manipulation-based character would be fit to use a sword. Perhaps it’s high time to reconsider my choice of powers.
Bladed weapons will not be available for those power sets, however there will be some very interesting options for each.
Thanks for the information
Hmm for some of the powers we are able to choose I noticed that besides the ability we would have we would essentially be like any normal person which would be kind of bad if we were attacked . My question is for some of the abilities like the empath how would we get passed that cause I personally would be very worried about going up against someone like Valerie prime.
I would be happy to explain the ways in which each ability path may develop if that is what you wish, however, this would take some time and divulge many spoilers. If you would like details on a given path, please send me a direct message, and I will illuminate any detail you desire. For now I will assure you that each path will provide you with ample opportunity to reach higher levels of power, should you so desire.
Hmm I think that I shall be content in knowing that we will have ample opportunities to become more powerful. Rather than spoil a major portion of the story. But thank you for your quick response.
I liked all the Ro’s from what little I’ve seen but it did bother me that we didn’t have an option of how we reacted to Djinn’s prank. I automatically knew it had to be a prank of some sort I was thinking the twin could turn into sand. It also bugged me a bit that we had to ask James how he was making a knife float as that seems pretty obvious.
As for the Quinn thing as some others have pointed out, it is extremely confusing having them introduced to us as a reader and then reintroduced to the character.
Sorry if this all seems like criticism, I really am enjoying the game so far, I have a tendency to nitpick.
@Nomad33810 Thank you for your continued interest!
I will revise this portion to make it more interactive.
I will revise this dialogue.
No apologies necessary, as criticism is exactly what I seek. Instead, please accept my thanks!
This one will take some thought, however, I will attempt to resolve the confusion.
