EDIT: Fixed! I commented out the sm_init command to make sure Quicktest passed, and I forgot to un-comment it when I uploaded a new startup.txt.

Ah shit. I know what happened. I changed the first chapter around a bit and I modified that variable to be a bit more simplistic. Guess you guys are getting the updated version early lmfao. One second pleaseā¦
EDIT: ā¦ and done! I changed around the first two chapters because sending Adrian away and making the conversations in Chapter 2 optional allowed you all to miss huge chunks of the storyline by the time we got to the third chapter. These updates should help make those more cohesive because you canāt miss the majority of them.
Does that mean I have to talk to Jordan?
Yesssss, itās important for the story. But you can still be mean to him. 
Oh yeah, thatās another thing I changed lol. There arenāt notes anymore. The memory mechanic is getting reworked in favor of something more interesting. EDIT: You can go ahead and reload if you want to remove the notes section from the stats screen.

Iām happy to announce that I just finished the JSIS, which means Chapter 3 is officially halfway done! Iām definitely going to revisit that scene and a few others to see if I can expand the scene (itās rather short due to the high number of determinant choices that rely on information from other scenes). The first five scenes are all functional and pass Quicktest and Randomtest, which is basically what Iām hoping for.
Total word count: 76k
Chapter 3 word count: 37k
Up next, itās the scene where you can resolve tensions between Olivia and Madison! This sceneās gonna be fun because you can make smores!

Thought you all might like this little tidbit: I currently have 48 permanent variables and 55 temporary variables between all scene files, with more to be added for all the scenes. Yeah, I know, Iām absolutely insane. Writing is going to be slow next week because Iām flying out to my momās wedding! After that, writing should pick back up as normal barring any major life changes.
