Yep! The way the game is set up, Sabrina is either romantically interested in Jordan or you (or nobody if you don’t like girls). If she is more into you, you’ll have the option of pursuing a relationship with her if you meet specific requirements.

So if we’ve already been flirting with Sabrina and being nice is she already interested in us? And how will the interference scene go if she’s into us instead?

Depending on certain actions you take and what you tell Sabrina when you talk to her on the trail, you’ll either start out with her liking Jordan more or her liking you more, or liking both of you evenly.

There’s a confirmation at the end of both her flirting scene and the interference scene that confirms whether she seems more interested in Jordan or interested in you (she won’t outright state she’s into Jordan, but will indicate that she’s not super into you). If she’s friends with you in the interference scene, she’ll trust your judgement easier, but if you’re friends with Jordan too, she’ll be suspicious as to why you’re suddenly talking bad about him. If she’s alone during the second half of the chapter and you’ve met all the prerequisites, she’ll open up to you and you can start dating her.

Jordan will disappear eventually just in case.

All of this happens before Jordan’s potential disappearance. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sabrina won’t remember that.

Can we interfere in the interference scene to make her like us more? Also the interference scene will let us know if she likes us or not, then in the later part of the chapter we can start a relationship?

1.) Yes, by default, any action that decreases her attraction to Jordan will increase her attraction to you.
2.) You can start dating her in the later half of the chapter if you’ve met all the prerequisites. There’s two mandatory scenes in the first half of the chapter that must be played, and she has to be your friend and interested in you to romance her. If any of those conditions are not met, she won’t want to date you because she doesn’t trust you fully enough to address the trauma she experienced that made her less trusting in people.

You deal with Jordan and I deal with Carlton, perfect.

So if she trusts us and we talk bad about Jordan she’ll believe us?

If you give her reasonable doubt to suspect that Jordan may not be the person for her, and you’re close with her and not too close/not too antagonistic with Jordan, then yes, she’ll believe you more.

Gosh, this is gonna be so tough on my MC. He really, really likes Adrian but there’s no way MC is gonna hurt him by sabotaging his chances with Carlton. Being Adrian’s wingman is going to really suck

Great job on the story so far though! I’m super intrigued to see where this is going to go (take your time, of course!)

Thank you for the kind words! Don’t worry, if you’re reeeeeally careful, you might be able to flirt with Adrian without Carlton ever finding out.

EDIT: Also, thought you all might like to know this. The average playthrough word count with what I’ve written for Chapter 3 is around 26k words. Kinda lower than I was expecting, but then again, the amount of variability so far is like… insane. Pretty sure randomtest told me there was a whole 16 lines that never even got accessed lol.

I would say the ideal way this goes is less “Carlton doesn’t find out” and more “Adrian realises he has another, better, option and takes it”. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

There’ll be plenty of that too!

I just finished Jordan’s half of the Jordan/Sabrina intervention scene! (Maybe I can make this into an abbreviation - JSIS?) So, for your viewing pleasure, he’s a snippet of what you might encounter if you decide to help Jordan pursue Sabrina after you told him not to do it.

Keep in mind that things you discover in these intervention scenes can help you improve your chances with your desired RO. Sometimes it pays to wait before flirting…

Another thing to add to the list of reasons to remove Jordan.

Hey, you might come to like Jordan! He can pretty sweet if you treat him nicely. Wink wink, nudge nudge.
