LOL, I was wondering when somebody would get that idea. I’m planning on letting you guys be into him (I’m aware that that’s inevitable 
), but the personification of capitalistic evil by definition can’t love you back. He might string you along just to manipulate you, though, which for some of you guys is enough. Godspeed!

Shaking the dust out of this thread to share a demo update! I’ve been AWOL because of a crazy past few months, but I’m happy to report that that’s over and I am now back in the saddle

Gave this my first play through, pretty sure Cyborg will be my canon run and I’m looking forward what comes next. Mostly upgrading Mildred (which is my headcanon name for my AI assistant) and the obviously unprofessional romance with Reney. So many missed calls, I love her passion.
Summary
There’s absolutely no way our higher ups don’t know about our budding love however. Between the bugs on their stuff and the building’s surveillance but that’s okay, we’re still learning. However I am a villain so if I have to..remove obstacles well..Love always wins!

Questions/personal head cannon for the mutant, are the first 3 genes the base primary genes and the rest build off them? EXs. Tigris base and With sea cucumber the splotches fuse and mutate the stripes orange, and with the shark gene puts a tail fin at the tip of the tail turning you into a tiger shark and bat gene gives a more powerful sonic boom roar if paired with tiger gene (yes tigers are my favorite animals). Do our toes have retractable claws also do/can we wear this cheap dress slippers or slides and can we walk barefoot because of the Simi-cat like padded feet? Do we have tail? Is there going to be a physical enhanced strength, speed etc. Or is all this going to be in the evolutions? Haven’t finished reading just wanted to get this out b4 I forget.

I would think anything that feels too painful for a regular human to walk barefoot would be so for cat feet as well.

Cats walk barefoot everyday they literally have patted feet. And the only reason humans can’t walk barefoot is because we conditioned our feet to be soft wearing socks and shoes, lotions, moisturizers etc. Before all that we walked barefoot. You literally recondition you your feet to walk barefoot like how climbers can climb barehanded with chalk for extra grip. Plus it’s a super powered world stepping on some pebbles is nothing compared to getting hit by someone who can casually bench press a public bus

Yes, this was precisely my point. (People who have medical problems with their legs notwithstanding, any regular person can walk barefoot if they work on it for a while.)
I’d still be wary about broken glass and the like though. For both humans and cats.

Love the name Mildred for the neurocomputer, it makes it sound like a sweet doting nanny. Eventually you’ll be able to build it a server room to increase computing power. I’m toying with the idea of having it pilot a little drone that can do tasks for you.
As people mentioned, I get into the eventual power upgrades in the FAQ! It’s a no on the cat-feet though, sorry to dissapoint.

There’s a few instances like this, where Reid’s pronouns don’t work. I chose they/them and sometimes the grammar doesn’t match as well. Overall I liked the update tho!

I give the update a 2/10. Not enough Elaine.
I did enjoy getting to rob a guy for his gas money and pizza punch card, though. Really enjoying the humor and characterization in this title so far, but I do hope we get to go from swindling coworkers to murdering capes and maybe pulling off a big heist or two. A couple nuclear explosions for good measure. Some corporate-level scheming. Getting our hands on some imaginative sci-fi tech and using it on our enemies. The real good stuff.
I can’t wait to turn Mr. Null into a funny but generally creepy and violent bastard. Unless Elaine doesn’t want me to do that in the moment, then I won’t. I’ll do whatever she wants to do.

Thanks for catching these!! I always fumble like a handful of pronouns because there’s so many of them and quicktest doesn’t notice when I flub those. Should be fixed now.
I also miss her whenever she’s not in scenes. For this reason I always have her on the other side of your mission earpiece, so even when she’s not physically there she can make snide remarks. Lots of that next update (and also more in-person Elaine)
I’m super excited to get the MC out of the office this chapter. Very antsy for combat and violence. It’s time
