I freaking loved and enjoyed the demo. Still haven’t finished watching Youjo Senki but I’m already excited for what’s to come of this demo.

I’m so happy you like it ! Youjo Senki is one of the few anime I regularly go back to because the animation and sound effects (especially the ones of the attacks and magic spells) are awesome. I hope the next update won’t disappoint and thank you for the support !

Oups ! Looking back in the posted demo, there is a modification that is lacking : when the caretaker talks about the jewelry you chose, she says that she found it in the blanket mc was in when dropped at the orphanage. In the blanket alongside the jewel, there is a piece of paper with your name on it.
Thanks for reminding me, I’ll update this in the next demo !

The luck state will be really important in some further parts of the plot. It’ll be like living life on tolerable mode (your life will never be easy for long in this game) with high luck, or on survival mode with low luck.
I think that in a lot of isekais, apart from Youjo Senki, the relationship with the higher power/divinity/god who reincarnated the mc isn’t too often delved in. So in this story, the op’ness of the mc will be related to their belief system. And the luck will be correlated to the faith of the mc. Not believing in God won’t make the mc get smite, but it sure as heck won’t help

Unfortunately, no race customization will be available in this game, the mc must be human because of the magic usage rules I’ve created and that will get implemented in one or two updates. Furthermore, the mc must be human, because like in most magic stories, human are among the least magic-able race and this fact is a motor of the plot.

Lol hmmm will half to do a new playthrough but question since it’s been a bit and been distracted… So may have missed some context in all the posts. Believing like as in the gods existence or as in believing we can do what needs to be done in this new world?

I’m talking about believing in God in this game. I took inspiration for my luck chart from Youjo Senki.
Spoiler for the anime/movie
The protagonist absolutely does not believe in “God” which is one of the reason why she always gets into more troubles (because “God” always pushes things from bad to worst for her in order to make her a believer). But there are also 2 characters that will get some op power from God and are at some points even more op than the mc (like mc has 3 boosts, and the opp has 7).
So my luck chart will translate the thoughts mc has about the God.

As mc never got adopted, you got to choose your own last name, so that’s how you keep it ! That fact is not written but do you think I should mention it somewhere ?
Also no worries about being confused between games ! I myself sometime wonder what was the lore of the current game I’m playing, and then I just say screw it and I restart the game lol.
