Yeah. This is what keeps me from wanting to do a PARENTS playthrough. Why would I agree to work for someone who treats me pre-emptively like/as a criminal, even when they already know that I’m not?

Derek clearly states they were using him just as much as he was using them ergo they are not to be trusted and thinking ya can trick them into believing you are willingly serving them is ridiculous at best.

So far we haven’t had any interactions of them asking us to do anything so we don’t know the extent of how much they’re expecting us to cooperate, I think Derek’s situation is quite different. There’s so much of the game to play through yet so calling a possible story branch ridiculous is a bit jumping the gun I think.
I think it makes sense for a hero who’s more discrete not to burn all the bridges so obviously, it’s a lot easier to do detective work when you’re not public enemy n1

Fair points I admit however I don’t trust PARENTS to not send us to space to vanish next plus they clearly have some link to the power drugs I mean they obviously want full command over powered people what better way to have it than to give powers to their own loyal agents and soldiers.

Plus I never said the whole serving PARENTS story branch was ridiculous just said that them believing the mc would willingly work for them ridiculous. In fact I do like the option to actually work for PARENTS otherwise it would be boring can totally see one of my mc’s being loyal to them honestly.

Does anything change when you pick that you work for PARENT at the very beginning? Is it worth playing through the game again kinda changes?
I don’t really understand. If I used to be part of a superhero group and I saw an old friend of mine use the winds to drop a reporter from 100 feet in the air to smash into a pulp onto the concrete below, I would also notify the authorities and confront them immediately.
I wouldn’t really think anyone should take and enact justice into their own hands by taking human life. Seems like a reasonable reaction from them honestly.

True though Red Harry was implying that he was after the teams secret identities plus he is just a slimy guy anyway… either way I tend to avoid killing him to hide my full turn to villainy. Only did it to see the new outcome to the live tv murder out of curiosity lol

I think the point here is that a punishment should serve as an example for others who want to commit injury against others, as well as prevent offenders who have the potential to do harm again, from never doing so again.

For Propaganda it seems like if it wasn’t for the drugs he could have been talked down and well I did feel bad for him, (Plus I have a soft spot for pathetic mentally disabled people being one myself 
) Rattlebag on the other hand not so much and even if he did not kidnapped and torture Ghostling he would still be dead for all he did

Doing a PARENTS run now. Biggest takeaway…there is nothing defensive about Snorter’s power. It’s just 100% offensive, 100% of the time. (In other words, not much on the P run feels different, even though different things happen.) I do think I like having Derek around more than I do having him around less, though. Those multiple Dudes are pretty useful.

Maybe if they continue to grow possibly but given the information(with the punching bag), yeah I don’t think so at the moment.
Though smaller-scale feats, like moving large boulders, stopping vehicles, or tearing through solid materials, would be well within reach 
Something that I wanted to know is if there is or will be a way to be behind Derek’s plan to work for PARENTS if you choose to work for them or if that’s exclusive for MCs that refused it.

I think it is the only way right? Since if you refuse Derek has to come to the rescue and stop being undercover?
I “accepted” to work with PARENTS, Derek revealed his plan and we agreed to keep the undercover work to keep investigating PARENTS
He talk about the secret option “mini merovech” that for now is only available if you refuse to work for parent and where the MC reveal that he was the true mastermind behind the infiltration of Derek

Thought I’d romance Thelma at first, but Lilith blindsided me at the party with how happy she was and the dance with her was nice and I don’t regret it. Felt bad for her when learning about her problems with her powers and being scared she would one day get stuck in a wall/ground one day. Although it was cute how my super strength MC said he’d promise to always be there to punch the wall or ground and get her out if she ever got stuck.

I did some checking in the intro, and it seems like you’re not incrementing startedWith<something> in every tertiary attribute gain so picking any of the:

Also, it looks like Enhanced Senses MCs cannot wantonly murder Propaganda. Pretty much all confrontation paths end up with Flit teleporting in and punching him out when you get close or Propaganda getting hit by a thrown object.
