What happened to being the mastermind of Derek’s plan, manipulating Derek and parent. That option was available at the first version if you have high intelligence and charisma. but this new version that option was gone.
It could always be put as a part of the enhanced power system, super intelligence. No need for it too be its own individual poeer

I like that name, but I think it’d fit more the Batmentor alias suggestions.
Since you have to decide the alias of your character before picking a mentor (for those with enhanced physique) and there’s no way to change that around, most of those names are suggestions based on the power you picked.
But I’m considering adding another option for more “generic” names in there (as in, not power dependant) there. If there are enough of them, that might happen.
It’s the same character in name and powers, but the personality changed. I always wanted to play with someone that has that powers, so since I had the opportunity to write a superhero game for CoG I decided to use her. Some other ideas from that WIP made it into Unsupervised, but overall it’s its own thing.
This is correct, but there are other ways to reach that state too. The game more or less checks for everything “evil” you might done and if those things would be “Newsworthy”. Then, when Red Harry’s video comes out (if he’s still alive), there are some checks to decide if whatever he’s noticing would have a profound impact on Flit and the others.
Originally the idea was that you would get a message before the video was released, and Red Harry would blackmail you for a big sum. If you paid it, the video wouldn’t be released. I scrapped that but it might make a comeback. Either way, I’d like for persuasive characters to be able to bullshit their way out of the situation.
Yes, you have to go meet Blair as your superhero persona, and then you have to go alone to Jackdaw’s house.
The party scene is getting expanded upon so people who chose not to dance (or have early endings ) get more content. Some of it it’s more or less like that.
Hard to tell. The current demo should be around 80% of it, but don’t quote me on that.
Originally we would have a virus instead of a superdrug but we changed that because Covid became a thing. Omicron is a good one but it might be “too soon.”
The “level up” locations in the game are going to be replaced soon to divide it better into chapters (with headers and stuff eventually) so there are going to be more spots to earn “chapter XP”.
I made the math using the new arrangement, and it’s like this:
- You need 300xp to upgrade Presence from 1 to 6.
- The game gives you a total of 300 chapter xp by Chapter 7(the one where this option is at)
So you should be able to get the option if you start with Intellect and dump your xp points on Presence as you progress through the game. Keep in mind that there are other ways to earn xp inside chapters, and more are being added.

Hey, just something I noticed. The Steam release date says January 2025. Is that actually right? The last newsletter I got presented this like it would be the next game out.

Maybe it’s a typo. Coming out this month to coming out over a year from now is a heck of a delay. Especially when the version on DashingDon is supposed to be like…80% of it?

The estimated dates are provisional and there are any number of reasons why they change. Once it’s gone through beta testing, the game will definitely be closer, but right now the authors and editors are working hard on completing the draft.
Please be patient and continue to enjoy playing the WIP as it progresses.

I mean, I didn’t bother to screencap it, but I was pretty sure up until last night, it said the game was coming out this month. December 2023.
If they gotta take longer, then they gotta take longer. It happens. I’m just trying to be sure that number’s right, is all.
My guess? Somewhere in the middle of next year. There’s still much to do and we haven’t even met all characters yet. Steam is well, full of steam.

Super Senses
Super Strength
Super Speed
Overall Natural Abilities for EA (this includes if there are weapons and if the MC is smart or perceptive and if there were more advanced looking outfits)
This one feels more like a female White Ranger

All I was really asking was if “January 2025” was correct or if it was meant to be “January 2024” and there was a minor mistake, as until very recently the forecast was sometime this month. That’s all. I’m fine either way.

Considering that the game isn’t finished yet, I don’t think January 2024 would be a realistic estimate. I think they chose the date they did to convey that it will be several months at least.

But I am not trying to speculate. I was only trying to see if it was at all possible to get an answer from those involved if the year was an error. If not, then okay. Life goes on.
