I just want to get that scene again because for me it’s cool how it’s showing our inexperienced and show like the comic book the hero chase villain around city

There should be a way to get to that scene even if you have Superspeed/Superstrength/Supersenses (I know I did in one playthrough), but maybe we changed something and ended up locking that by mistake. I’ll take a look–we still need to do a bunch of changes to the values being tested for stats, too.

Usually I don’t gravitate towards villain or evil playthroughs, but I really enjoyed playing through the Telltale path in Paris. I roleplayed it as a teenage hero “acting out” after losing their mentor, especially because there wasn’t anybody left to anchor them after the team fell apart.

Posts like this warm my heart. By the end of the day, Unsupervised is a game about roleplaying a teenager struggling with their identity, their powers, their (potential) responsibilities, and their lack of a parental figure. It’s a coming-of-age story in the age of superheroes, so it’s nice to know all the different types of MCs that people are coming up with in their playthroughs.

Hm, the code seems to track a romance variable for Telltale, but their physical appearance (that we’ve “seen”) doesn’t match any of the characters on the cover, except for possibly the redhead with the sword, who I assumed was Cutlass/Vorpal. Is Telltale a planned RO?

She is, but she’s not on the cover. Her true appearance is something that’ll only be revealed later on, and she never joins the team–not the main team, anyway. There’s a schism coming up if you and Flit, don’t see eye to eye, and then Telltale might be a part of the “new team”.

Still on the subject of ROs, I’ll edit the first post to let people know about all the romanceable characters.

As a minor thing, during the fight with Progoganda, I snuck up on him, superheated his gun, and then knocked him out. The next page describes Flit tying him up and then LB coming over and punching Propoganda hard enough to knock him out. Did LB really feel the need to smack Propoganda after he was already unconscious and tied up, or did I stumble onto a bug?

I’ll check this out. I think he should only punch Propaganda if the villain isn’t knocked out, but I’ll confirm it.

Also, I noticed that Pathfinder doesn’t have a write-up in the characters section. Is that intentional?

You’re right, we put her in the Omega Responders section (under organizations) but we didn’t put her in the other Omega Responders section (under characters). We’ll fix that.

The thing is, if he was born in 1999, he wouldn’t be a teenager anymore, so it must be something else, unless this game is playing in a whole different year.

The 1999 tattoo is a reference to a famous (and controversial) book on the game’s setting. I should probably put the world’s timeline in the game, since it mentions that (and a bunch of other important stuff). It’s still a WIP, but most of what’s in it is canon.

Just want to said after playing the game several time. I hope we can also spend more time with othe r teammate not only flint because most of the demo have dialogue that rise flint affection and some special scene like in paris after kill rattlebones only applies to flint

There are more interactions with the other characters coming up. There are a few blanks in the game, especially between the end of the fight with Thaumaturge and the scene at the warehouse.

In this setting, people come up with the strangest theories to explain the origins of metahumans and the development of superpowers. Some believe it comes from God (there’s a character later in the game who preaches this); others, that it comes from the occult. The latter is the case of characters like Hauntress and Rattlebag.

Rattlebag is an L-level metahuman whose power is to mimic the powers of others. He has worked as a gravedigger since he was a teenager, and once he had the idea of robbing the grave of a metahuman.

You can imagine what happened next…

Probably! It’s assumed that some metahumans don’t know they have powers. There’s even a quote from Red Harry (the pesky reporter who uncovers the secret identity of metahumans for a living) about this:

After playing the demo for few times i think the complete version of this book need like 10 long chapter or 20 chapter if short or maybe more because unlike other book in this website who all the core character already being introduced in 3 chapter in this book demo even after 5 chapter not all the core character being introduced.
So this make this current book demon have great detail yet also this book also need great detail in the future for getting the character affections up and the character get more flashed

As for suggestion Hmmm maybe added the pictures for the characters in the game when we want to read the cast characters profile because it’s good for immersion and show more some effect on using time manipulation on character body so far only first chapter showing it when we save flit

That all my reviews and suggestions for future demo, because this is suggestions you don’t need to follow it because the final creative decision is on the author hand it’s just i feel this book really needs lots of chapters or long chapter fulfill it great potential

Well you have to reject PARENT’s offer after the Vera City battle, and you have to get captured(don’t worry you will get captured) and then choose to talk to your imaginary friend, and be friendly, then he will give you a talk which will give you an existential crisis.

Its a very fun game so far, i love that i can play a broody anti-hero sort who will do whatever is necessary to achieve their goal.
Also love the fact time manipulation is a power we can choose, love time based powers or magic and pretty much everything that has them

The only thing i would like to see added is the option to be disinterested in being a superhero or villain. i like to imagine my mc is just kinda tired of being a super, not gonna complain if it doesnt happen though
