Ahhhh, thank you!! I’m actually doing a slight reworking of this arc of chapter one, and then i made the decision to actually lengthen chapter one for reasons that’ll be kind of clear once you play it haha. Once I finish the additional edits- i’m almost done- I’m going to lengthen Chapter One to the actual end of this arc, and then re-release! It’s a little slow going, though- i’m a stay at home mom, so i only really have time to work in the evening!

Ok how did I not know about the existence of this WIP before. It was utterly adorable how the characters interacted, I can’t wait to see them grown up! Do you have a Tumblr? Anyway, I’ll keep an eye open for any updates 
Edit because I’ve been reading the comments and, did I understand right or not being obedient to the barons child really will lead you to a bad ending? 
I just can’t picture my MC saying yes to everything

Haha, I’m so happy to hear that!!! I’ve been thinking about making a tumblr for a blog for updates.
It’s hard to say without giving too much away, but you’ll effectively be made to choose one or the other. One of the two is tied into a “good” ending, and it’ll slowly become obvious i hope as the story progresses.
I decided against making them oppositional traits because technically that means if you did both traits, you could potentially never hit 100% in either and even wind up sticking in 50% DESPITE doing all the “correct” answers for either, so they’re each separate traits for now- it might change later as I get deeper into mechanics.
You can do both and still get the good ending, when you start to realize which one it is! The hope is after a certain point, it will be impossible to max both. Hopefully- that’s all in the outline, but it may all get reworked when I get there and actually put it into action
Buuuuut if you really wanna know- trust is tied go the good ending.

I can look into it! I didn’t initially plan to because this game doesn’t really have the ability to fail- there’s no deaths or anything like that. I may wait until later if i do add them, as editing right now is going to change portions of content people will have played and potentially bug out later portions if they don’t start a new save.

Oh, this one is so cool! I’ve played through a couple times and I really like how this is fleshing out! A question though, are the trust and obedience stats tied to who you later choose to romance?

I click on this game because the name sounded like it was going to be some kind of BDSM thing but you know what I’m not disappointed with what I got instead because I love anything thing to do with magic so the game’s idea appeals to me a lot, especially the close sibling relationship even if it sounds like it could end up being a codependent one which let’s be honest I’m a big fan of supernatural so I have no problem if it does. 
Also, can we get the choice to pick whether our sibling is older, younger or the same age as us?

Yes, that’s exactly right! I wanted to try to experiment with the idea of making romance options more obvious- sometimes in games where you romance someone, what you think is the tight answer is wrong and though the author thinks it’s obvious, it turns out not to be haha.
Basically, they’re not opposing values, but one major decision and the stat that belongs to either love interest will control what ending you get!

Yeah, that was something I struggled with with the title haha, it sounding a bit BDSM. I’ve gotten so attached to the title because it really does reflect the plot and the mechanics all in one, but I also don’t want to confuse people 
As kf right now there’s no way to change the sibling’s age, but that’s mostly because of how they’re written. I have them sounding a bit younger than the player at this time, so i’d have to go back and do some if statements every time the sibling talked for age calculation haha. Later it wouldn’t matter because after college you’ll both be adults, so I could theoretically make it an option anyway and just make it so your sibling sounds younger than they are in the beginning.
I will say that there is an ending in which you can actually lose your sibling as your closest confidante! Otherwise the two of you are very much like Sam and Dean haha!

I just want to chime in and say - great job on the re-work of this! The improvement is very noticeable. I’m on the forum frequently and I remember trying to read this about a month ago and it was too wordy/disorienting for me to get through personally. BUT NOW - I was able to read word for word, follow along and I am throughly invested! I have so many thoughts and curiosities about how the rest of the story will play out. As someone who is a big people pleaser, I wonder what that will look like? I’m sure I’ll eventually have to pick between baron’s child versus the orphan who saved our lives. I dunno - the story seems very exciting! Also I can’t wait until we are closer to the present and we get to see why we are having a discussion with the queen. As a reader - I really appreciate the time you spent re-working this and want to communicate it was well worth it

@Darkovika very well done other then the one thing the poster above me pointed out nothing jumped out at me wrong. That ending had the heart strings pulled for certain. Now to make some different choices to see what changes.
