To the City of the Clouds

@Scrivener a “bit” short is a “bit” of an exaduration but for what it is the game is very fun.

Agreed. But the replay value extends it a lot in my opinion

MMMMMMMMM true.

Replay value?? where the games options aren’t enough different lol all important choices lead to almost same text with no differences

I thought this was one of the funniest CoG’s I’ve ever played but it DID feel far too short and under developed, I agree with others when they say it had huge potential but that just wasn’t met.

Agreed, very short. However, considering it’s less than a cup of coffee at the gourmet places, I figure it could be worse. I had fun, it’s a pity there wasn’t more though.

This. I regret having ever purchased this particular game for all the reasons mentioned above. In recent playthroughs, I’ve started making my character get into trouble because of their insane libido (hiring themselves out to cocaine smugglers, getting roasted alive by villagers after being seduced by the imperialistic archaeologist, et cetera), because I’m utterly sick of their shite.

That being said, it’s still a very little more enjoyable than my copy of Heroes Rise, since it doesn’t punish me unless I make really stupid choices. It’s a tolerable alternative if you’re bored of the Kindle Paperwhite’s other CoG offerings (which are sadly very limited), and it offers some lovely descriptions of the South American countryside (and of academic politics), but that’s the best than can be said for it.

…Oh heck, I didn’t realize this was a three-year-old thread. Facepalm.
