@Igneous - yes, there is. He asks if you want rough sex (which includes ravishing, bondage, or oral - all with agreed safewords beforehand that you can drop), you can choose to have the standard kiss/cuddle, or you can choose to just sit and talk (all the partners have the option of non-sexual affection for ace players). There’s also some additional tender moments that don’t go into full spice.

Ok wait, is it normal to publicly release a free demo like this in the immediate days before release? Everything about the way this thread was structured made it look like a full release. It wasn’t until I read the fine print that I saw that it actually comes out on Thursday.
I’m still dumb, but I feel a little less dumb than before lol.
The demos do usually come out on Monday or Tuesday, and then the full game is out on Thursday, unless something unexpected happens. There tends to be an interview post along with the demo being put up, but not always (as with this one).

Oooooh. I’ve seen those interview ones, but never realized they also had a demo linked. Welp, looks like two of my remaining three braincells are toast, but you bet you’re ass I’ll be using the last one the play this on Thursday.

My remaining brain cell will also be enjoying this game, the potential hedgehog, and choosing between several romances who have caught my eye (which is not all that usual for me! Often I go all in on one) on Thursday.

I wrote with clear mental pictures of all vampires/characters, with the exception of the protagonist, Alex, and Marky: all three can be male, female and nb. For them, I created a mental amalgam that really didn’t rely on their physical image, but rather their character and soul.
The clearest mental image I had, in terms of physical appearance, was for Saffron De Lisle; her inspiration was (spoiler alert for those who’d rather create their own mental picture) Christina Hendricks.

Can someone explain to me what kind of powers are available for our MC in detail? And regarding the shapeshifting powers it mentioned in the description, what kind of forms can we shapeshift into and do we have the option to get pets or thralls/servants?
@Zarkrai the powers are grouped into three areas: Fang, Form, and Mind. Fang is your typical claws/athletic ability/beast mode; Mind is essentially mental control.
Form has two different variations. It can be used to disguise you as someone else (male and female) or, in combat, to turn into a shadow form (either for evasion or for rather lethal shadow tentacle attacks).
People you can turn into in the game include…
Baristas, doctors, servants, security guards, Hollywood film stars, personal friends and, in one romance path, you can pick a selection of options if you want to roleplay a little with your lover - including some very kinky choices.
You do not get a thrall or a pet in the game, although there is the possibility to turn one of the ROs into a vampire. Given the plot takes place over roughly the course of a week for a newbie vampire, it felt unrealistic to add that. That said, if people dig the world and there is a demand for a sequel (which is really up to you all and Choice of Games) I’d want to expand the power options and almost certainly make the story about a more experienced, powerful vampire - in which case thralls and pets are standard!

Is there something wrong with my Heart’s Choice app or am I just being impatient?
I can see the purchase button on Vampire’s Kiss but nothing happens when I click it. Try Now works fine.
It’s probably still being updated - usually things go up at slightly different times, but everything will be buyable once the email on the mailing list goes out. (It is buyable from the website currently, as I just discovered, and you can restore the purchase in the Heart’s Choice app after getting it through the site.)

I couldnt find a diacussion thread for this game but i was wondering: how do you romance Kurt?
There are two things you need to do: leave Alex and visit him in Chapter 5, then side with Fergus in Chapter 6. That should make him available in Chapter 7.
