Well, given that we’re in Book 2 of 7, there’s plenty of chances to add a few things.
Again, you can’t kill any of the four. The strategy that works for me with M is to establish your dominance early but show you also care. Otherwise… Keep going with your current strategy. (Shrugs)
Perfectly valid.
If you mean the Mr. Grey I think you do… No, Adam/Ava is too repressed for that. They’re both examples of what we call the “slow burn”. We’d have to wait until Book 5 for anything physical.
Never played Dragon Age so the reference means nothing to me, but the comparison with Alistair seems pretty valid.
But, yeah, this fandom might be sort of different to what you’re used to on the forums.
Yeah, I have noticed that this series is not for me due I will have no control over my character in the romance as this is more a otome That a proper Choice of game in that aspect . However like game plot is awesome and welll written I will playing them without any romance or relationship with characters at all.
The main point of this game is the romance and friendship that you develope with Unit Bravo.
Saying this game is not a proper CoG because it’s genre is romance seems to be quite unfair. The plot changes depending on your choices regardless of the romance, so how is that not a proper CoG game? If you don’t like the romantic aspect when the game is romance focused… Then I guess this game is, indeed, not for you.
You can still play the game without any romance, of course, but consider the main part of it is the romance, so if you decide to ignore it all together you will be missing a big chunk of content and you might find it lacking in length. I think is something worth to consider in the future before you buy the rest of the books.
You don’t understand me In this game there is no choice in the romance all is set in a stone. You only could choose a path and all is set you can’t move a coma of what author had planned games in advance. You want be direct andtell your emotions you can’t . You try to ask for dating you can’t. You are immersion in a medieval times type of romance where a kiss need seventeen years and the sacrifice of 50 bulls to Hecate. The romnaceis a visual novel with the absolutely nothing to choose from. So I am not interested in that teen style romance more if i can’t change a coma or tell my romace WHAT I WANT. …
However, after reading the author social media now I know wht this is. So I would buy for support and because I really love the plot and the combat and the writing. For me all except romance is superb. So I will buy it anyway, hoping maybe later on author decide let player choose at least something in the relationship but is not needed because rest of game is enough for me enjoy
This is the first game of the series. Its only 1/7th into the romance. I get that waiting it tiring but I don’t think its fair to say that the romance is bad when we’ve only seen 0.15% of the entire story. You can boldy flirt, you can be shy, once you lock-in your romance you don’t even need to flirt at all! This book is just the foundation, it needs to be a bit more rigid or the whole thing is going to fall apart. Give it some time
Don’t you think you might be coming to conclusions way to fast? We have only book 1 and you already have predicted how the romance structure will be for future books.
And to be fair… You have a saying on the romances? The romances are not empty characters that are there to do what the MC wants, which is the usual thing on most CoG games, here they are their own character and as such each will have a different peace. So, you can be as forward as you want, but still, if the RO you have chose is not comfortable with how direct you are, then the romance is not going to advance.
In short, this characters have a big development, unlike other CoG, here, the world doesn’t bend to the player, but the player joins the universe and enjoys it. The characters have motivations of their own, desires and interest of their own, and as a real person, they are not going to jump in a relationship the way you want it just because you are the MC. And in my personal taste this is amazing and I love it with all my heart
I am a very direct person I can’t be direct. It is totally out of my comfort zone. I am 31 lol. This kiss and not say anything directly is an off point This isnot a high school tale. You are an adult with adult behavior. And lol it reminds me the medieval book of court a women I suppose in twenty years and after four weddings I could give him the hands. It is Victorian levels of repression. Lol my character would not maintain interest if she can’t say I want know you better and have time with them. I am not talking about sex I am talking about a meaningful time to know about romance and possibility of choose a meaningful dialogue based in pc personality. My character is perfect out of romance. And become another different person on it. As role player that break hard my immersion. I want maintain my personality through romance as any other aspect of game. It is impossible so forme romance has no control and no sense
The new NSFW thread is part of the Adult Content category, and you need to be part of the Adult Readers Group to be able to see any threads in that category. Which, might be the issue? Otherwise I’m not sure what it would be
Bud I don’t think you get that the first book takes place over a few weeks. Now I’m not judgeing if it works for you but if I remember correctly if you see someone you like ILR you don’t go admitting love in the first few weeks of meeting them.
@poison_mara What CoG book has the romance style that you prefer? As the others say, there is a long way to go for this series, so it would be pretty anti-climatic for the romance to resolve itself in the first book. Maybe keep an eye out on developments for Wayhaven. If you honestly find it that offensive it probably just isn’t for you.
So your way of getting to know someone involves kissing them within the first few weeks of meeting them? Like the story is slow burn over 7 books spanning a few years I imagine your going to have a long while to by your definition “get to know them”
But you can say this things…? In book 1 this is not so obvious because you are not suppose to see each other after Murphy is dealt with, so no one wants to get their heart broken with starting an impossible relationship. But as in the first meeting on the demo of book 2 you can be like this. You can literally tell your to you want to get to know each other. So I don’t see the problem here?
