I THINK ABOUT THIS ALL THE TIME! I really doubt we will ever get to encounter F’s family, but the thought that they exist and F can never, ever reach them again-- and knows it-- is just too heartbreaking.
When Sera said F would be the most freaked out at MC entering the Echo World, I can only imagine these are the thoughts that would be going through their head. I also can’t help but wonder how differently the Echolians probably perceive humanity…
Idk why, but I always imagine a Supernatural-esque Purgatory type situation. Which is terrifying to say the least.

I think F would be the one freaking out the most because they know that a human over there is easy prey. If you also consider the smell of the Detective, our MC would be dead probably very fast.

With difficulty sees silhouette of M through the newly formed thick wall of smoke, twitching nervously.
Hears A’s ordering someone on the phone “…you heard me right! The science team and engineers from Team Echo! Use helicopters if you must!”
Suddenly the 5 tonne entrance steel door flies off its hinges, followed by Rebecca’s urgent “Is the portal in here? Make way, I need to see it!”
MC: Mum? I thought you were on the other side of the country, visiting Agency HQ?
wailing intensifies, with smoke beginning to seriously pinch eyes
A: I repeat, send the national guard to our position ASAP!

We don’t really know how you can traverse the opposite way, but I imagine the usual route will still hold true?

It makes me think of Cole from Dragon Age returning to the Fade and talking about how wrong it feels to be back in that way. I wonder if you leave the EW and then come back, is there an affect on the body?
