The Wayhaven Chronicles General Discussion (SPOILER FREE FOR BOOK THREE!)

What if some weird magic happened, leading to Rebecca being temporarily transformed, and Unit Bravo mistake her for an enemy. The RO would attack, right when she turns back, turning her into a vampire. It would also add to some discord within the team.

Sorry didn’t know.

I always go with Ava and I play a very Deduction focused Mc followed by People I believe. But as far as personality stats go, I’m more friendly, sarcastic, easy going and very upfront with Ava. But my MC is also very Mind focused rather than letting their heart lead them which is where him and A match up.

Little question, more about the first but with the second in head.
Is it possible to save the character in the end now in order to import her in the next game or will we have to wait a little for this fonction?

I want to replay it but since the second will soon bƩ release, I prefer to wait another month than replaying the same character and exactly the same story a few weeks later.

Yes. At the start of each subsequent book, you will be able to import a save file from the last one with which to continue your game. Alternatively, you can always use the ā€œCreate-A-Detectiveā€ function at the start of each book if you don’t want to replay the whole thing just to see what you can get differently. And of course, you can always choose from pre-made Detectives to play as.

But to put it simply, yes. lol

Wayhaven Book One have a save option in end. It’s one of the few recent CoG/HG titles before the new policy(no save option before the sequel enter the publishing queue) was implemented.

Ok, many thanks.

I’m so excited for Book 2! I feel like a kid around Christmas time again, and while I wait I think I’m going to play around with Book 1 again just to keep myself patient. Every time I go through it feels like the first time all over again.

I’ve wanted to ask this for a while but how strong are the vampires compared to like Superman? And would Batman be able to fight them?

Well I’d imagine they’re no where close to Superman level, and Batman is an overrated character that can do anything as long as he plans for it. Since vampires have a clear weakness, the DMB, probably. If he can get kryptonite he can get DMB.

Oh I wasn’t talking about Batman’s ability to beat them, I was talking about his ability to fight them. Batman’s reflexes have allowed to react to people who have superhuman speed before. So I was wondering how a human in peak physical condition and who has mastered quite a number of martial arts do in a one on one with a vampire.

Pretty sure peak physical condition or not, people with superhuman speed are gonna outpace you, even if Batman can react in time, he won’t be able to keep it up.
And as usual it’s just writers jacking off Batman again.

I don’t know, I mean the detective at the end of the first book was able to react to Murphy and break his nose even though the detective was exhausted and in quite a bit of pain from the blood transfusion. So I would think someone like Batman would stand a fairy good chance of beating a vampire in a one on one fight.

It depends on their power level Murphy was pretty weak compared to Unit Bravo most of them are like Level X I think.

Is he? I mean didn’t hefight all four of them at the same time for a short while, and even though he didn’t win he wasn’t defeated either.

No the power up came after he realized he wouldn’t be able to beat all four of them. He held his own for a short while. After the power up he completely dominated.

Yeah, it is very hard to generalise the outcome of a fight against a vampire. Even without preparation time Batman could possibly defeat F who is tier 6 for speed and agility, but he would be utterly defeated by someone like A who is tier X. I only say this because he has mastered every martial art form on the planet, and regularly fights superhuman individuals as part of the Justice League.

Yeah he’s still a vampire of course he would hold his own, Batman is human. I’m pretty sure Murphy was also distracted when the MC got him. I’d have to replay the first one again to check though.

God I hate Batman lol
