I think they look pleasing and many have a pleasant smell that comes off of them. Also a lot of cultures tend to see the giving of flowers as a sign of endearment or romantic feelings or intentions. So I guess you could say its use is as a decoration and a (usually) effective way to show positive emotions or feelings towards another in the form of a gift. Which I suppose is a very complicated way to say they look nice to a lot of people.

Ok, so there was this ad, I’m not sure who the actress is but she reminds me of Nat so much. Perhaps a darker skin tone is needed though.

You know, she actually looks like gal gadot. And yeah when I thought Nat, an image like this would pop up, the way her dark hair is gently flowing and her smile. It just fits.
Edit: ok I didn’t see the gadot signature until now lol. So thats why she looks so much like Nat because that was her face claim.

The way I’m setting up the Theories and Hunches sections of the FAQ, I will be posting the earliest, most detailed, and/or most liked posts, but I need some help finding posts that fulfill that criteria for the following theories/hunches:

Middle Eastern/Egyptian origin

My theory is that N could have some Egyptian blood, my reason to think so? That I can not think about them and not picture them working on the library of Alexandria.

The library of Alexandria was dedicated to the muses, it was a center for scholars and many many collection of books in multiple languages. So, yeah, until said otherwise, I headcanon N has either being a scholar from that time or by being one of the keepers of the library.

Remember that for quite a while, the last Pharaohs of Egypt were not Egyptian, and instead they were Macedonian. In fact, the Library of Alexandria was founded by Ptolemy I Soter, and he wasn’t Egyptian but Macedonian.

So, sticking to my theory about N living during that period… it would still match, as (ancient) hieroglyphics were not used any longer and instead most people was using Greek or a more modern version of hieroglyphics…

Asian origin

F is a middle child and here’s why:
As @mewsly said, they have a level of emotional maturity that surpasses even N, at least when it comes to identifying and processing emotions. Middle children, in my experience, excel at that. They’re not quite the oldest sibling, with all the responsibility it entails, and they’re young enough to still identify with the baby and the carefree nature of childhood, and because they’re stuck in the middle, they generally don’t get as much attention as the baby or eldest (who need the most guidance, usually).
All this screams F to me. They had a baby sibling that they loved in the Echo World, though they sometimes wished their parents would drop a little more attention in their own direction, but most of the love real estate was also seized by an older sibling who I’m sure F loved deep down, even though F’s proficiency at verbal sparring tells me that they must have had quite the few sparring sessions themselves.
And unless F’s whole family came to Earth, I doubt we’ll get a dinner scene at the Hauville household.

We’ve definitely got hints about N already and the blood thing:

• Gets less blood than the others
• Rebecca’s strange reaction when N calls the MC intoxicating
• N avoiding the whole topic of blood as much as possible
• N needing to completely turn around to control their hunger and urges when MC is bleeding out after the fight with Murphy (the only one that does this)
• N completely loses composure when they see the MC’s blood bag and running out the door

I feel N may need less blood because he may became…“feral” somehow if he drinks too much. Like, he may go into a frenzy of “more!” and not be able to control himself.

until we know more, I’m just assuming sera’s answer is about them controlling their blood cravings around normal people, not the detective’s.

having an amazing self control doesn’t mean they don’t feel a huge temptation. You can be very severe with your own diet, and still walk past a pastry shop, smell the freshly baked goods and wish you could eat all of it.

So, what I’m going about is, what if they haven’t feel temptation in a very very long time, but now with the Detective they feel it again . What if that is what terrifies them?

I am kind of rubbing my hands with this, because, what if them having less blood is self punishment for something they did in the past? Maybe that is their penitence.

Not sure if this is as relevant, but those reasons above could explain why Rebecca may be skeptical about an MC/N relationship.

Y’know thinking about N being overprotective and wanting to keep the MC safe–given N’s reactions to the MC’s blood, if N does have some trouble controlling themselves around it, even something as simple as a papercut or a skinned knee gets a lot scarier
