So, I’m going to write a fanfic. I’ll start asking questions on the link you posted, I just want to confirm one thing first. Fanfic as in Choice of Games game fanfic, or fanfic as in just story fanfic. I can do either one, though the choice of games will take longer just without the coding and such.

I think you should start on the story fanfics first. Get a feel on the characters and the atmosphere. Then if you think you can, go for the Choicescript version.
Or you could just skip to the CS version. Works as well😂

I think I have the unit bravo characters down, I am going to do the choice script one, so hopefully I can do something where you’d be able to import your saves from Wahaven to into it, though you will be running with a different character. Gender and stuff Will be customizable, as well as height and such, though the character in my fanfic will at least start off, totally blind. Could possibly do something else, but I most familiar with being totally blind myself, so will run with that.

I just tried the LT route and Oh My God, my heart 
! That hospital moment with A when he said “I wish it were only me”. Omg it struck me hard! Especially that A is my favorite and my main RO, it’s hard to hear him say that. And the last part when I started a relationship with N and he’s just lpoking at a distance, I can’t 
.
This route is very worth it really! I already played all routes except F’s and here is my ranking:

And also I really think that the Rogue people will use Verda or Tina to get us one day, or Verda and Tina will be a reason for the reveal of supernatural world, instead of Bobby.

Hey quick question, partly out of curiosity, and partly to world build my fanfic better. Currently, do we know exactly where way Haven is located? Like, if it’s in North America I would say someplace around the border between Canada and the states, given the environment were given, just wondering.

Sera didn’t specify. So it’s up to your imagination. For me I picture Wayhaven somewhere in a quaint quieter part of Melbourne Australia (quiet and Melbourne contradiction in terms but there ya go) where Victorian architecture blends in with the modern setting near the river. Or England. North America def works. It’s up to you.

Hell yes. A is more eager and somewhat more forthcoming than A own route and I can only speak for myself here (cough and maybe @moonfungus too) when I say all that angst is absolutely worth replaying. I ordinarily seem to gravitate towards A in LT route my MC can’t bear breaking A heart and also can’t resist those longing glances no sir. I hope you have loads of fun with LT again😊

Buuuuut, you do get some different scenes based on the choices you make during the route.

And durning a terror threat do they bare arms as well (and correct me if I’m wrong only bend through the UK once as a lay over mind you) they are only armed in airports and train stations correct?
I always picture some where with a port like Maine or some where on the east cost of the us or Canada as in B1 they its mentioned there are sailors that go to a bar in wayhaven.

I’m from the UK and you do have special units who have been trained with firearms, so yeah they would be present in an emergency response to a terror attack. But that would be in addition to an actual terror response unit and normal unarmed officers, and firearms are used as a very last resort. Plus I’m pretty sure if Wayhaven was in the UK, the MC wouldn’t have pepper spray - a taser, maybe, but pepper spray is illegal over here (at least for civilian use).
Either way, no way Wayhaven is set in the UK because the MC is frequently armed with a firearm and just takes it places willy-nilly. Like shooting A in the first book would’ve required a ton of paperwork at the least, and more likely the MC would’ve been suspended or fired for firing at someone who didn’t have their own firearm and was actively about to shoot them.
UK officers are trained in de-escalation, whereas US officers are trained to escalate situations to remain in control, or at least that’s what I’ve read about US police forces. Between that and it doesn’t feel like UK fiction about police (involves a lot more detective work and a lot less violence), I’d definitely say Wayhaven feels a lot more American.

I really can’t see that setting somewhere in England for some reason especially with the pepper spray, people with American accent(I don’t mean that there aren’t Americans in the UK, but you guys probably understand what I mean) maybe if not Montana, somewhere Oregon/Washington.

Sorry for the late response, but thank you so much! You’re a gem! I will definitely be taking into account all of this, it’s much appreciated. I was certainly thinking that A would be the hardest to get FPs with from observing my playthroughs (and F the easiest), but looking at it on paper makes it quite clearer.
The skills evolution is interesting too - like you said, being a generalist tends to be nice for roleplaying, which is what I end up doing on most of my original playthroughs on games. I feel like Wayhaven at least handles skill check failures in quite a nice way - the ones I encountered felt like natural evolutions of the plot, rather than it going out of its way to punish me harshly for a fail. (The whole Murphy escape scene, and their consequences, are a good example of that.)
And thank you for the guides you’ve put out as well! I’d been wanting to try a friendship-only playthrough of both books but am too easily tempted by romance to be able to do it without a set guide…

I’m from Australia and the way TWC is written in British English helps me visualize Wayhaven in Melbourne w/ old European feel plus the addition of UA Maori Scott brothers New Zealand is like a stone’s throw away from Australia. Never been to the US but American locations probably fit the story much better idk.

I tried this the other day and boy was it hard. On second friendship only playthrough I managed to accumulate 12 friendship points with M. I “accidently” flirted and got 1 flirt point in there too. For an MC that is all Heart I find friendship with A hardest to form.

I’m still over here wondering if Mason/Morgan is M real name? considering their Greek heritage Did Agency rename him after his memories were erased? Could be similar situation with Tai/Taida who got their F name after coming to our world from the Echoworld. Can’t wait for the M surname reveal either, hope it happens in Book 3 but maso part of me is enjoying the mystery and even the long and arduous wait. Gives me an excuse to go binge on fanfics meantime.
Who will we get to be in a relationship first A or M? A emotional walls will probably take longer to break down. At least A is aware of their feelings.since Sanja prophecy contributes to bolsters A emotional constipation I make it a point to avoid her tent in carnival. Not that it makes any difference, denial is strong with this one.
On The other hand at least M isn’t in make out denial. I’m super excited Sera said optional intimacy scenes will be available on all LI routes. A will probably work up the courage to get up close and personal in like Book 7😩 I suppose all good things come to those who wait and all that.

Yah it will probably take time to let down their guard and accept their feelings for the Detective. Tho I definitely cannot imagine a in-relationship Adam/Ava with the Detective.
Regarding that, I believe M is gonna be the first one to confess their feelings for the MC since we get to see M is slowly developing feelings for the MC without M actually noticing it. Also they are pretty straightforward with what they want. But likely their confessions would be in around end of Book 4 and start of Book 5 ( I guess) where they realise, they are falling hard for the MC.
But with A, that is a different story. A already have feelings for the MC, but they have a hard time accepting it. Also living for over 900 years, they have seen some gruesome shit, and they also stated they are numb and are always certain about stuff (expect the MC) makes it even harder to open up. So it will likely take time to break down their emotional walls and think it is okay to have feelings for someone, to let their guard down and have some enjoyment in their life.
But oh boy, the love triangle will be a different roller coaster to ride on . Imagine all the angst we will get from it, I actually think that the LT route dipped in angst waiting to be served to all of us by our beloved author.

I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to run the friendship route, unless it’s a one shot. There’s four attractive vampires who all mostly want to date you, why would you choose no romance? At least, that’s my opinion.
Also, probably going to in my fanfic set it in the states, just because I kind of know that better than Australia. Also, there’s a joke I really really really really really want to put in, though I guess technically it could go with any settings since it’s more to do with Farrah and where my fanfics MC is from than anything else.
I’ll have to run through the books again, which I’m quite happy to do, to find a mention about a port. Now that I think about it, in the one road in book one it did says something about dockworkers, but nothing about sailors going to a bar.
Also, on the subject of the 10 K posts limit. At least if it is the way I think it is, can’t we just set something up where it either minimizes, archives, or deletes the posts at the very beginning of this thread once it gets around 10 K? That might work? However, I would have absolutely no idea how to set that up. Unfortunately.
