I finished all routes minus the love triangle, just not in the mood for all that. If you told the past me when the first book released that M was gonna have the most solid route and most compelling story as the series progresses, I would have told you to kiss my bum. He was literally my least favorite.
For from my favorite to least in book 3
M>N>F>A
M is first and A is last
M route stoled this book, he was the MVP in this one and I refuse to argue about it.
N is getting up there especially with that crazy talk about wanting to turn MC and that whole mystery surrounding his family. Let me see an unhinged N.
F needs more suffering, there’s an interesting character plot buried in there somewhere.
A, Just communicate with the MC! Stop playing mind games dammit.
I hope the spy isn’t who I think it is……
Wayhaven released when I was a junior in college, back then 7 books was no problem. But now I don’t know, waiting for the next book is getting more painful.
Yeah, same here. Even with my amusing F-mancer (can’t do anything right and doesn’t try most times, except for snark), I found F’s route somewhat of a trudge to get through because of the sweetness overload.
Yes! Get on the M train! We have cookies.
I felt bad about F’s mom–that was hard. But it’s more of a “take care of my little brother” hard than anything else. F’s just a ball of sunshine. Only problem is, I prefer cloudy days.
Please share, because I have yet to come to a conclusion about this.
Heh. I haven’t seen college in a very long time. And the wait sucks balls.
Admittedly, this book makes it a bit easier, since the only one I really care about is M. It would’ve been nice to have the out loud admission at the end, though, instead of needlessly dragging it out longer.
The fact that F’s route is such good vibes is why I liked it. I’m sure there will be some drama further down the line but as it stands now it’s very wholesome and chill, a nice break from all the angsty romances we get in this and other games (not that I don’t love that shit too). It’d be pretty funny if F’s romance was just a seven book-long tale of a mutually-supportive, positive relationship that ends happily. I’d be down for that.
I agree. I have some idea of what N’s ultimate trauma point will be too. Not sure about A, though - they seem to basically always be at their ultimate trauma point.
I hope those are macadamia cookies. Plot wise, the story in book 1 was strongest one, I didn’t really give a flying f about that bird giant turkey.
Also for the spy, it’s gotta be Elidor , at first I thought it was too obvious to be him. But I dunno, my gut feeling says otherwise. After him, it’s Adriana or Rebecca.
yes drastic in a horrible situation, and even then she own up to it.
Whoever is the mole, is someone working for and with the agency and trying to take it from within…
if its someone we know, then the 3 peoples we get ‘Tapeesa…etc’ one of them would be it. Especially, since depend on your skill, each one can get kidnapped giving them the cover of ‘Oh see, look elsewhere since…I got kidnapped!’ then Stab you in the back.
Could be also one of the peoples we met at the meeting with the chamber.
One didn’t like us, one liked us…and one was too nice to be honest lol
I just want to know what the hell else is in MCs Blood!!??Arane hinted that MC was human and something else, which i’m guessing is due to whatever Doctor Murph-ball did. I mean, Mixing Vampire blood into a human blood stream (who already has a special blood type to begin with) can’t possibly go without some sort of future consequences, can it? I’ll literally riot if we don’t develop some sort of ability after all that trauma with Dr. Murph-Nut lol.
Summary
I played all three books 6 times this week and each time I played, I learned or read something new, it is quite honestly amazing. You start noticing little things that have A LOT of potential for foreshadowing. Was Book 3 anywhere close to as good as 1 and 2? no (in my opinion). Although I loved it, I felt it was missing something, I can’t really pinpoint what though. All I know is it nagged at me, every time I played.
Also, hands down, Mason/Morgan RO route was the best in book 3!! Don’t agree? Lets tussle
Lastly, The Bobby scene surprised me lol. Like BOOBBYY WHYYY!!! I wonder if the same thing can happen with Douglas. Because my whole jaw dropped when bro popped out from behind that tree. Althooough I kinda love Bobby, I had to sit my phone down and breathe out my instant frustration.
Yeah, I think Felix is personally my favorite. But for me the M route somehow felt deeper in a way; more emotional. Sure, F and N can’t be away from MC, they “can’t live without”, “can’t stand being away from” nor like the idea of “MC being in danger”…BUT something about the connection we had to build with M was satisfying and un-rushed.
Now all I need to do is play A’s route for book 3; That one is kind of my favorite for book 2.
