I played the demo so many times, and absolutely loved it! I saw a lot of moodboards and I felt inspired to make my own (I seem to have a thing for pointy teeth).
So a little bit about my player character:
Summary
Detective Lauren Greene, female and single, does have 3 cats and occasionally takes care of homeless dogs from the local pet shelter.
She likes to keep everyone happy but doesn’t easily open up to thers. As a result she has many connections but only a few friends. She has a good relationship with her mom, knowing when to have fun and when to be serious. Lauren is good at reading people which is a useful talent for a detective, it also helps her to avoid awkward situations for she gets easily flustered (something she doesn’t like, at all).
With the sudden arrival of 4 mysterious woman and a murder case, Lauren’s somewhat predictable daily routine gets turned upside down. She has trouble adopting to their imposing presence (and a sudden attraction she didn’t expect) but tries to make the most of it. Killing them with kindness if she must. What’s the worst that could happen? (Don’t say that, you’ll jinx it).
Haha oh my god that is TOO good an image to picture! Especially when one considers that my detective used to be a heavy smoker as well (usually stressed and social based but) now I HAVE to try drawing it.

Oh my gosh, that’s perfect! Now I just see them both bringing their cigs up at the same time and saying no while Felix melts to the ground. Please share in the forum if/when you are able to draw this out, I would love to see what you come up with!
You’re welcome! I have no artistic talent whatsoever so I’m always amazed at people’s artwork, especially when they can get characters to look so realistic. Just think of all of the art inspiration you’ll have once the full book is out! I’m so excited to see everyone’s art and stories they come up with after they play through the full game.

Hoping to change the world for the better, Aaron soon knew that he would join the police (or any other law enforcing organization for that matter) one day. He actually wanted to work for the FBI since the impact ought to be greater (if only he knew ;D), but he was rejected.
Especially the first few years in the department made him question his descision. Beeing faced with only minor offenses he felt useless. Paired with his not very high selfesteem, Aaron developed a pretty pessimistic personality. This is also why some would describe him as a pushover, often taking the blame and backing of in arguments. In an attemped to change that he got used to ignore those who try to belittle him.
Nevertheless he feels drawn to Morgan, looking for the cause of her open hostility and maybe close the wound(?). He still tries to be a teamplayer, very well knowing that the case ahead is not something he could solve alone. And most of the Agents seem nice… most of them.
I saw someone post a theme song for their MC so here is Aaron Whites “Into the Black Light” from Ghost Brigade. Seems like Morgan and her team will take him “out of here” so that his wish, making a difference, may become reality.
Everyone’s MC has so much detail. Looking at my post, I only drew a basic outline for mine. Probably I’ll probably post my MC’s stats once we got the game.
Does anyone have a multiple MCs for each RO with different personalities? So far I have only one for Adam.
I’m doing all the romance options (though not all genders) with my main, self-insert detective because The Thirst Is Real. Keiji’s gonna trip into feelings with Felix and Mason, and I might see how he plays with Adam eventually cause Keiji’s response to someone trying to control him is to fuck with them as much as he can, so that should be fun. I don’t have any other specific characters worked out (yet), but the more of everyone’s quality detectives I see the more I want to
@resuri08 So far, Elena is gravitating towards Nate and (she would kill anyone who suggested the possibility) Adam. The former because he manages, in her mind, to be an almost perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. The latter because having a (again, she is extremely hesitant to admit) like-minded rival to engage in arguments with is honestly more energizing for her than she first thought.
Raymond, meanwhile, is torn between Ava (because she manages to be a stone cold, authoritative badass in ways he doesn’t, and that intrigues him) and Felix (because he genuinely enjoys hanging out with Felix and wonders if something more can happen).
I have only one MC and will also only have one “true” playthrough. There are actually only a few CYOA games I play twice, and when I do then to refresh my memories before a sequel releases.
It has nothing to do with the game. Im just a bad roleplayer so i would experience pretty much the same story again.
And regarding romance: It would feel like I’m cheating, when playing the second time and not choosing Morgan
I’m going to do my main, TRUE MC (posted about her above) with Adam and Nate (Adam is my one true love, but personality-wise I think my MC would be interesting with Nate too).
Then I’ll do the fluffiest, most people-loving, kind and warm-hearted MC with Mason. She’ll basically be a puppy in human form, specifically for torturing Mason.
Then I should come up with an MC that would be most fun for Felix. Maybe just the most ridiculous flirt ever?
And then maybe a self-insert with Adam, just for good measure and the fantasy.

I know how you feel. XD I usually do one playthrough since most of the times, there’s only one RO that interest me. For sure though, Adam will be my first and main playthrough.But reading all of Sera’s ask over at tumblr, it is quite tempting to do a playthrough for Nate and Mason. Yes, he is based off of Edward Nygma from the tv series Gotham, however it is only in looks wise and personality wise kind of. Now here’s a bit about him…

Has only really had one romantic relationship, has few friends (Mostly work friends)

Very hyper when excited

Becomes shy if he feels threatened and starts using riddles
If pushed too far or angered, becomes incredibly sassy and a smart aleck
