so i just saw this really old ask where Sera shared some songs from each RO route
and there’s The Last Time by Taylor Swift and Gary Lightbody for A’s route and i was like whaat?? that’s really sad!
makes me even more curious about their past

Anyway…
I haven’t heard the Last Time yet but checking the lyrics, that is really sad. I really got the feeling A got betrayed by a former lover or they always give 100% of their love but it seems it’s not enough. ;~;
By the way, @L_M and @Marceline_Reyes, I found my last year’s annual physical exam and I am only 5’3 and a half. Lmao.

Ok, real talk:
At this rate, we’ll burn through something like 10 threads before Book Two is even released.
Should we, maybe, I dunno, consider having two separate topics?
One for discussing Wayhaven as a whole (with spoiler tags), and then keep the WIP thread on-topic as heck (only Book Two/WIP discussion) so as to avoid hitting the limit like six times before Sera even finishes it, lol.
Of course, we still have 3,000 more comments to go, to figure this out, but I just want to throw it out there because hewww boi we’re burning through these comments like hotcakes.

The original WIP thread for Book One took about a year to hit 4,000 comments.
This thread has garnered 7,000 comments in three months.
In addition, threads are now automatically locked at 10,000 comments (through no fault of CoG, this is all the hosting site’s declaration), meaning that there’s no way to continue discussions in the same thread.

I have to agree. The one for the Book Two WIP should be limited to feedback and bug reporting?
Edit: Also, we should put a link for the FAQ and the main TWC thread as a whole.

Precisely my thoughts.
Anything would technically be off-topic, imo.
Besides which, I don’t want Sera to have to trudge through 400+ comments to find a bug. That would be terribly inefficient.
edit: @resuri08 actually I think we should take Ms. Torrez’s original advice and make it a separate thread rather that keep linking it to this one. I just feel that if it stays here but the thread is locked, it might just cause confusion.
At least if it’s a separate thread we can contain follow-up questions to that thread rather than derail any conversations.
at least that’s the intention

Yeah its probably for the best that we make a different thread else we only going to run out of space in a month or two
I said it from the beginning and I will say it one more time. The FAQ should be an individual topic, then also, any doubt or questions that want to be added can be post on the comments over there. That way it will always be up to date with all the books and people will have it in the same place through the seven books.
Then, with the 10k lock. I don’t really see the problem here. If this fandom is active, is just natural that we go quickly through those messages. Once this thread is about to hit the 10k comments, I am sure that @Seraphinite will open a new thread.
What I do agree, is that next thread could be “book one discussion, second edition” or something of the shorts. And then once Sera has the demo for book 2, she will open a exclusive topic for that. This topic, as @rose-court said, should be only for book 2 related stuff. What I am not sure about is, will we in this book 2 WIP make hypothesis for future books, considering the new information we will have from the demo? Or do we keep all that for the book 1 discussion? Because that would be kind of off topic?

@resuri08 based on the lyrics, it seems that the guy (Gary’s POV) keeps breaking the girl’s heart and leaving her, then keeps coming back to her. and the girl (Taylor’s POV) always forgives him. until they say that this is the last time that he breaks her heart and won’t hurt her anymore and also the last time that she forgives him and lets him in her door.
i think A is the girl in the song
anyway, 5’3 and a half is still fine!

I think the second thread should be general discussion rather than simply Book One discussion (at this point, the two are one and the same).
The Book Two WIP thread…while it would be nice to speculate on that thread…we’re a talkative bunch, and as I said before, I don’t want Sera to have to trudge through hundreds of comments to see the ones with bug reports or genuine feedback. I would say that the general discussion would allow for Book Two discussion, so long as we keep everything within spoilers and properly labelled, just as we had in the first few weeks after the release of the game.
And @Meira_Litch you’re 100% right, it should’ve been a separate topic to begin with, I was just nervous about having so many Wayhaven topics floating around. 
I believe I’ll wait until Sera releases the new demo though, just in case there’s some cool new reveal that’ll have me editing the FAQ to begin with.

Well, my parents are Mexican, so they instilled in us a deep-rooted suspicion of government, lol.
Besides that, Area 51, alien theories, and government conspiracies were a surprisingly large part of my life growing up (thanks Men in Black and Independence Day! :D), so when I read ‘shady para-governmental agency’ I just took it and ran, lol.
I suppose I should be imagining less SHIELD infilitrated by HYDRA, and more Men In Black the movie—ohhh snap, you think Agent Chandra and other psychics work as walking neurolyzers???
I can guarantee y’all that Charlotte would be tempted to dress in black suits and sunglasses if it wouldn’t be so damn suspicious.

That seems like a good solution. Something else that just came to my mind, maybe we could all agree that, in the book 2 WIP thread, we only tag Sera when we are reporting a bug or stuff like that? So then, no matter what she will get specific notifications about it.

If I remember correctly, there are three threads for some other CoG/HG like Zombie Exodus: a hint thread, their main thread and the fan art thread.
So in summary:
- the demo thread
- the FAQ/help thread
- the main TWC thread
- the Fanfic/Fanart thread
?
Though not Mexican, I have observed it throughout my life and a father who always have something to said about the government. XD

@Meira_Litch Yup! Let’s try and encourage limiting our @ for Sera only if they have a bug or something.

Also, I don’t think we even need to wait for Sera to make a second discussion thread, at least it’ll be one less thing on her plate.
All we would really need to do is desginate the thread for general Wayhaven discussion, and maybe have a few necessary links like:
- links to the game, like Sera has it(?)
- link to the WIP
- and specifically mention it’s for bug reporting and feedback only
- link to the FAQ
- and ask that all follow-up questions be posted there
- link to old threads???
- I’m super not sure about this one
- oh! maybe a link to Sera’s tumblr!
- A LINK TO THE FANWORK THREAD yesssssss
I think that’s all that’s really need for a first post?
