Do any of you guys know when it’ll be released here? And another question: if I get it on Steam for example and get Book 2 here, will I be able to upload my previous choices? Or will we choose manually? (I guess this is more directed to @Seraphinite ?)
Based from previous experience, CoG usually put annoucement around 2 am in my side of world so around 3 hours time perhaps?
@Misswinter To put spoilers, you highlight the sentence with spoiler tag and click the gear icon, you will see an option to blur spoilers. And like @Mewsly said, Sera has confirmed that there are no kisses on Book One.
The way it works you do not get a save till the sequel is done then COG will implement a save system that will port over to the new book. As for release time on this site tends to be in the afternoons.
No. This series will be 7 books. These are slow burn romances.
Finally! I get to talk about the game!!!
Keeping mum while editing was hard, but I know you guys are gonna love it.
First off, there will be a choice in Chapter 9. I’m sure everyone’s first inclination is to go to the bar. You really need to do another run where you don’t go with Tina. It’s fantastic!
Second, if you haven’t given M’s romance a chance, do it! It’ll be surprisingly better than most people think.
So what are some of your favorite scenes? A few of mine are: The part where we get to go to the Agency and chat with mom and have a private moment with Mason in the hallway. I also LOVE Douglas’s reaction to you and the Team Bravo if you save him. I can’t wait to see how that is reflected in future installments. Another of mine was the meeting with Bobby. That was so good with an ex-bf background.
I am still in the demo part but so far, I could see significant difference from the first demo to this so good job helping Sera out. =D
Looking forward to delving into the game more.
All CoG saves are uploaded to their cloud, so as long as you use the same email address for all of your accounts (Steam, phone, etc), you can grab your save for the next game. I remember Sera also mentioning how if you didn’t want to import your Detective from Book One, you can choose to start fresh for Book Two.
So who is better for a first runthrough?? I’m mostly interested in A and N, but M is cool too!
First of all,
i just…
!!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!!
I REALLY JUST HAVE NO WORDS THIS IS SO COOL IT’S 12AM HERE AND I HAVE A PRESENTATION ON 8AM BUT ITS OK WAYHAVEN IS HERE AND IM GONNA DROP EVERYTHING IM DOING RN TO JUST…!!!
I LOVE YOU SERA!!
sorry for the fangasm. i’ll properly post something when i’m done playing lol
Thank you!! (And to everyone who answered me)
I can’t wait to play it ~
Nate will be first playthorugh, but I have no idea who will be second.
Just finished my first playthrough (Adam’s route) and ahhhh, it was soo good and intense and!!
Everything I hoped for and more, thank you so much, Sera, for writing such an amazing story! I think I’m going to replay it multiple times before trying other routes (though I obviously look forward to them too). This was definitely worth the wait.
I’m not much for posting, but this is one of the games that i’m excited about. I love vampire stories and the different personalities that are portrayed. I just wanted to say that i can’t wait till this comes out for apple the suspense is killing me. Thanks @Seraphinite for brilliant mind!!!
I feel so dumb I just realized the wayhaven logo is 7 phases of the moon like the 7 books.
I just completed my first playthrough with Ava. It is really good. Not gonna stop. Next target - Nat.
i have played it three (3) times since this morning (Nate, Farah and Moran) and i’m about to go for four. it’s so good lads. i have no more concrete thoughts it’s just. it’s good. i love it.
I ended up not having to work, so I’ve done three playthroughs already…
In the first one Murphy escaped, in the other two he didn’t. I didn’t think that would be a thing.
I went for A first…and then again but picking better options and then the triangle. Damn…
That was a nice touch, right? I really liked that and can’t wait to see how that may affect future books.
Yeah, I am really worried about that
It makes me think that trying to get a “perfect” run might not be the way to go. I’m so glad I have plans to play through with multiple detectives.
@Seraphinite First of all , Congratulations on the release .
I want to say that i wish cog did not released the game free with in App purchase because i think both the game and you dont deserve any bad rating, this is a masterpiece. The writing is so easy to understand and immerse yourself as you read , the story is very exciting and keeps you hungry for more after each page, the characters i have to say im loving the most, i did love nat and ava since the early steps of this game when you started writing this wip, now after finishing reading 1 playthrough i can say for sure that i have no favourites…i even did fall in love with Tina (She is so damm cute
) .
I have to say Rebecca is so damm lovely (wish i had a mother like that…haha im kidding
)
Now after saying this, there is something that i would have made it know to you if had been a beta tester,
sometimes there is many choices but still too close to each other and yet not how i wanted my mc to feel.
for example the way our mc feels after learning the truth from her mother, in all my playthrough i have always been supportive of Rebecca and a loving son yet when presented with all those choices it feels a bit cold to just smile at her and say “I understand”, perhaps a hug and telling her how much our mc loves her will be a bit more suitable for my mc, also like this i did find sometimes myself wishing for a choice there and here when having “alone time with one of the vampires” and not just the "look at her " “keep working” choices (i wanted something kinda like the flirting choices you get sometimes when you are talking to all the vampires.)
Well, there is really nothing more for me to say, is hard to find a negative point to this game story / writing since is so masterfully well done in all aspects. I gracefully have to bow to you.
