The Wayhaven Chronicles: Book One (Discussion) FAQ Located on Post 2

I must say this is one of the best stories I’ve ever read. Wish I could express how good it was but I’m not that good of a writer. So I’ll stick with I loved it and hope it’s as successful as it has every right to be!

The cuteness of A’s was a trap! Sera used it to lure us into a false sense of security (aw, maybe they’ll all minus M’s be cute like that) and then she sprung the rest on us!

N’s killed so many people! No one was ready!

I wonder what happens when a demon dies? What happened to the corpses of the team that was taken out by Murphy? How did they go unnoticed in their absence? Did they have lives in Wayhaven to be able to move about freely? If not, did they spend the entire time in Wayhaven hiding from the populace? Also, I hope my detective has the opportunity in the next one to ask the questions I wanted to. I’m just so curious about the supernatural. I wanted to talk to every agent mentioned just to learn

Im not sure if this is stated in the book or not, but i like to think those demon agents werent killed in Wayhaven more of nearby area, to they never reached it in first place
I think their bodies were retrived by agency and given decent funreal possibly on agency’s secluded graveyard or they were cremated(easier like that leaves fewer clues)

Guys I just replayed M’s route and I wanna do a quick appreciation post of one of my favorite aspects of the M Route… N.

I mean...

They are 100% done with M’s sh*t

And they totally block M on purpose

N is just a great foil for M during their romance and I love it.

Also a bonus A also being done with M’s crap

Gotta protect the detective from that trouble-maker. N and A are a M route detective’s protective fathers. Regardless of gender.

One thing does make me curious…

Hmmm… on one hand imagining N comforting one of M’s probably many “love” ‘em and leave ‘em is both sad and a little funny… I wonder if any of M’s other “messes” are going to come up.

Ah, those… sweet moments of protectiveness.

And about that last comment: Yes, that is actually something I have been wondering about as well. From the way N speaks of it, it makes one believe it has happened many a time before.

Yes, N being 100% done with M’s (and occasionally F’s) behaviour is everything!! It’s beautifully visible on this scenario Sera wrote a while ago:

Poor N needs a break from these two, haha

True, for me its mostly sad. My MC would desperately try to avoid thinking about these “messes”, hoping that he is something more special to M or even that there was no such thing before. So basically a state of denial^^

@Raakettu yeah, that’s my favorite scenario too!! lol :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: betcha can’t guess why huehuehue jk

I think N being done with everyone’s crap is my favorite thing about them, and probably why I practically throw Charlotte at 'em.
They deserve a sweet, good-natured girlfriend after spending so, so many decades with the Three Stooges…

…but of course, it’s just N’s luck that Charlotte is more of the same, lol :joy:

Ajsbfksbdo have you guys gotten a blood sample after shooting A? And then having Verda test it? Because I did, and now I’m hyping about it.

N was so surprised huehue :smiling_imp: :sparkles:

I always get a blood sample from fake Murphy, or at least, I believe it is from him. But that is because he (or the one hitting him, again I am not sure who exactly is who) gets a punch square on his jaw/face

@L_M What, really? Because this was after the shooting incident, so I just assumed it was A’s blood. :frowning:

@Toco, I don’t think so. Because I never choose to shoot A (always peppering them instead) and still get to collect the blood sample just before returning home. Thus, the blood has to be from the hit one of the fighters delivers to the other.

I feel like you just showed me a whole new world. I always shoot A and assumed the blood was his all the time.

Hmm, good point. Also that would explain why Verda says that the blood is identical (I think) to the one found in the victim’s veins.

I like collecting the blood with my more observant just to put them on notice that nobody is taken in by their shenanigans.

Precisely! I was just looking it up, just to be certain Verda actually says this, but I obviously do not have to since you make the statement yourself.

I have always thought that it’s A’s blood? I think Sera confirmed it’s them fighting with Murphy, and Murphy manages to escape because A gets distracted and in that moment Murphy hits them. When the detective finds the blood, they say that it must be from the person that got hit on the jaw.
