On that topic, So you know in the N romance how fairydude comes in and N is like “is that MC’s blood?” and it turns out it is. Totally calling that N is gonna get addicted to MC blood, don’t think they’ll take it from the MC but obviously the agency has a stockpile of bloodbags or can make it synthetically
Bloodoholics Anonymous.
But actually, I don’t think the Agency would allow any of their agents to drink the detective’s blood, because that would make that much harder to keep them in check. And if the look on Rebecca’s face when N calls MC’s blood intoxicating, she wouldn’t allow it either.
I don’t think it’s not just MC’s blood. I think N has not self control or some addiction with blood.
I don’t think the agency would allow it either, but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t steal it/find some other way to access it. This wouldn’t be necessarily exclusive to N however given tidbits of information about them dropped throughout multiple playthroughs N seems to drink more blood than the other vampires
@resuri08 Don’t think it’d be exclusive to the MC’s blood either, but normal blood wouldn’t be addicting like the MC’s blood
I suppose so but I don’t get past the Agency to research on said blood either and create something that would control their Agents further. Lmao
Guess we now need to Make Our own agency with blood magic and blackjack
Yes, and I still don’t trust the Agency when it was revealed they are keeping the detective’s blood on hand. DMB was supposed to be safe at the Agency. I have a feeling that the detective’s blood will get out there somehow or be used by the Agency for nefarious purposes.
Hey thanks for the tip! I´m new here and wasnt sure how to do that yet
Yeah that makes sense, they most likely wouldn´t or only if the last option at hand.
I haven´t about it that way, that makes a lot of sense tbh. Thanks for your opinion
There’s most likely a mole at the agency (or two, you simply can not make certain there won’t be any at that level of organisation) and that’s how Murphy got his hands on DMB, imo. Because if we assume he did it by himself, then let’s face it - agency security becomes complete and utter rubbish.
There could also be supernatural black market type thing or murpy’s dmb was some sort of home made cooking, and there is definetly a mole in agency… what kind of secret organitzation doesnt have double agents?
He could also be ex-agency gone rogue. He could somewhat hold his own against UB (yes they beat him but it wasn’t a complete stomp), there’s no reason for UB to know this either, and depending on where Rebecca was in the command chain she might not be told. There’s also a line near the end about not keeping secrets from the MC, which make me wonder what top top secret things are still being kept from the MC by Rebecca and co. Also when you first fight UB they’re fighting someone, and it isn’t even explicitly stated who that is. Also Murphy knew about the demon team (and killed them all) that was previously in Wayhaven, however the citizens of Wayhaven didn’t
@Aleksa100 double agent would imply that there is a “counter” of sorts to the agency, I mean why would a double agent be working for random rogue supernaturals. Not saying you’re wrong, its just something I hadn’t thought about that makes sense, after all why would their only be one group of supernaturals that works together
Presumably liquid DMB is something only agency possesses:
A tenses. Not only did Murphy manage to get hold of DMB grenades, but the liquid form too? Maybe the Agency isn’t as secure as it used to be….
From chapter 17. So yeah, it’s a good guess, but I think book hints that liquid form, unlike gas, is harder to synthesize, I think?
@LifeWithoutMind Yeah, he could be an ex agency scientist. I lean towards the theory that there is a group of discontent personnel, who were somehow betrayed by the agency and they waged war afterwards. The only problem is the fact Murphy’s character is not the teamplayer one.
i might used double agents in wrong context…but what i tried to say is that not everyone in agency would be so nice some might be swayed with promise of great power …i know my MC now goes to sleep with loaded gun under pillow
In the final fight with Murphy has anyone talked him down? That might reveal some stuff about him
@anon8836198 he also knows enough about anatomy to perform blood transfusions, as well as synthesize a combined human/vampire blood sample granted his previous attempts on it killed humans, but humans don’t have the regenerative capabilities of vampires
Yes but it doesnt reveal anything. You just point out that you’re bleeding out and A helps you get the DMB in him while he’s distracted
People: N isn’t the best RO
Me:
I’ve converted one more the Cult of Wayhaven. She is firmly in the A camp. XD And I might have just bought two more copies to “persuade” two others to play. We shall get more updates as they come~ But I swear before two comes out I will have everyone who I call friends playing this and foaming at the mouth for the next one!
Though is it wrong to say that all scenarios left me equally and thoroughly shook? Like hooo boy, I was down and out for the count! But if I had to list the ones in level of which is my fave?
M, (Just cause M gave me heart palpitations with trying to kill me with tension.)
N. (Sweet/suavewell struck and as always I was not ready!)
F. (Cause hooo, made me blush like nobodies business. Also invoked that moment of . Welp, I might not be all that straight after all. XD
A. (Don’t get me wrong still loved it, but it was less blush and more Awwww, you grumpy dork, you care~ )
But for reals guys I think I have to play again I’ve gone a whole WEEK, without replaying. It feels like a crime.
Don’t worry, I thought F’s was the best too.
I think i have diabetes how sweet Nat was…
I was not expecting her to be such a player
