Wait, I still cant get through anything, at least yet. This is so difficult! But how do you even get money> You just spend money LOL.
There are various events which gives us a lot of money.
2,500 Aurens from Mullingan brothers.
4,000 Aurens from EBB with high Social MC
Other than that depending on the kind of backgrounds you choose at start of game the taxes come in regularly at about 3,000-4,000+ Aurens
Now if you are really hard pressed for Aurens at start of game & your treasury is negative then you can even get loans from various entities like Lord Dulsen, EBB, from the temple if you have good relationship with them.
If you still aren’t satisfied with the amount of money then just whip out cheat menu & max out your treasury.

So, I used the delaying invasion cheat once (increased the time it would take by 100 days). For the most of the game it was just waiting because apparently I had run out of all content without realizing. Is it possible for the invasion to happen when all court options are depleted too?
I usually use that particular cheat to build up my army. You know buliding an army of knights, archers.
By the time I’m done with all the upgrading my army has barely any militia.
I’m just scared that at some point we’d have to deal with farhall & it’s elite regiment of knights. Better be prepared for that eh?
Oh & @N1GHTMAR3 you could always skip time when that happens. No?

That’d be a good idea but it’s still waiting since training the army takes time.
I don’t know what you mean by skipping time.
The game allows us to skip time. You just have to activate that option from the same menu you go for your cheats

Yes, exactly! That’s how I’m able to train so many knights. You order the training of knights then just skip a month & another ten days after. You are all good.

Using cheats can break your game, so I can’t say much about that. I also can’t make it so that the invasion occurs after all the HC events are exhausted because some players might want to rush those events before doing anything else.
I’ll playtest the game many times on my own(without cheats) to try to get the feel on the dates of the invasion. What I currently have has huge variance and might not be the right number, so I need to test it myself.
More related to what you described, I also can add an option to the Cheat Menu which says “Make the invasion happen tomorrow” Just keep in mind that you can also skip days(1/10/30) by activating that option on the menu, as @castellan stated.
Weird. Did you use any cheats before or during that?
Adding cheats to the mix can bug your game in unexpected ways, so that would explain it.
Did you save your game while in the stats menu? That usually bugs it.
Other than that, I would consider that it is either the possibility of cheats having somehow bugged your game, or that it is a problem related to an old save using old game files.
Nope. Just saving in general (not necessarily in stats) breaks the game to be stuck in stats. No fix as far as I am aware, as it is a common issue. I keep backup saves, so I save two times on two slots. Rather rare for both to be corrupted.

I used cheats myself and never saw that “the army never came” thing. That’s very weird.

Only one more option the cheat menu needs is the ability to add troops but other than that this game is fun as hell now.
