That’s more of a shared misinformed opinion then anything else. 5 of the abilities you can choose can beat Abam off the bat.

Murphy was considered strong and he was dealt with quickly and on the same day you discovered your abilities.

It’s the same with God mode. Cause Ari still tries to warns you not to fight Adam, thinking you’ll lose and be killed. (Whitch we all know is BULLSHIT!). Like everyone else she’s misinformed, cause MC could just straight up snap their fingers and delete them.

Basic single power MC can still kick ass. God mode just makes sure you don’t struggle while doing it.

The way it’s implied it seems like Adam has multiple powers in the face of your single one, and they’re implied to be rather complex, for a fact, in the super speed path, which is an op power, one of your future-selves warns you that many of your own selves have fallen to Adam, you’re supposed to be as fast or faster than lightning yet Adam is still killing you, let that sink in, Murphy was not strong, he was a fire bender, elemental manipulation doesn’t grant you a super physique, so anyone faster than you will knock you out, or anyone that has more combat ability than you and can withstand your attacks, anyway, we have to agree that super intelligent mc has to depend on others ALL THE TIME and can’t do anything by himself, the same goes for regeneration mc, he needs to be saved from the memory guy and then he cant do anything against the energy guy except wait for Dexter to save his ass, I also find the fact that the memory guy can affect you with super speed unbelievable because the mc can move at the speed of electricity, when they move at that speed their brain moves THAT fast, I’m pretty sure basic human thought is not faster than lightning so… mc would be able to notice something is wrong with his super fast brain, even in the path of the divine arsenal, if you choose ruyi jingu bang and boost your mental defence, the guy is STILL able to control you, so… it is pretty inconsistent as of now.

Yup, I agree with you. For some reason, authors nerf how fast things are. Most of the fictional characters I know can react to bullets even though their power doesn’t have anything to do with speed.

Adam’s power is sub-atomic manipulation, not super speed and reaction time. He shouldn’t be able to react to anything a normal human can’t. Even a normal person with a gun can easily kill this dude.

People forget that GM route is created to make things easy for players. This is still a game, and if you don’t choose the cheat route, your MC will surely start as a weakling no matter what power you choose. Peeps in this verse was already farming exp points for the last 2 years while the MC was having their beauty sleep. Most of them are obviously stronger than MC at the start of the game.

Also in my opinion, regeneration MC is fine the way they are. If GM route allows players to do things easily, regeneration should be the route that would make us feel how dangerous the world is. People around your MC have these cool powers while theirs only makes them harder to kill, and that’s what makes the route awesome.

to be honest, the idea of making breaking the 4th wall and plot armor powers are interesting enough as is… but what if they were combined?

this is just a suggestion;

make it so that the MC has the power to see the 4th wall, and is aware they are in a game. they can casually speak to authors… narrators, anyone in our reality who’s worked on this W.I.P. kinda like Maddie from Ever After High.

for the sake of the story, instead of one author, make it so that there’s two authors, one a stickler for the rules, and the other a mischievous author who’d love to help a new, sentient creation of theirs.

the MC can casually have help on upcoming events and challenges, so whenever they miraculously survive a devastating event or dodge a massive bullet, it just seems like sheer luck, plot armor levels of luck even, but in reality they’re just getting some added help.

I dunno how you’d even balance this, but I just typed this up randomly lol

Adam’s ability is just the same as vector manipulation, I think, but it’s even to a subatomic and quantum level. That’s op! :joy:. Vector manipulation itself is op.

I think Density Manipulation is even more OP as compared to Vector Manipulation and it would be harder to try to counter that with Vector powers since Density’s scope of power range is pretty broad. It’s almost Godlike in some sense.

That’s what I thought, density manipulation is like a type of molecular lateration, right? An MC who masters this could pass through walls, altering the density of the wall or also alter the density of the molecules of his body to manipulate it at will, of course he needs great concentration to do the manipulation, great intelligence to be aware of this manipulation. of density and at the same time a great strength of will to be able to concentrate despite the difficulties of the new world.

What I read in a wiki about that power, it was mentioned that some anime characters with that kind of power had even reality altering power (or at least power levels close to it) to a degree too and more I think.

Here are what Density Manipulation are capable of that I found on the wiki.

Capabilities

The user can manipulate density, which is defined as mass per unit of volume. This allows them to alter solidity, change the size of substances, create or destroy matter/mass in a volume, change inertial resistance (mass), make things intangible, either strengthen or weaken gravity, concentrate or expand matter, or create pressure differences in a fluid (gas, liquid, plasma) to induce a current and possibly use it to move solids.

Some users might even be able to control electrical charge density, which is the amount of electric charge per unit volume. This would, in turn, enable them to manipulate electromagnetic fields. Control over population density might also be possible for some users as well.

Limitations
  • May be limited to manipulating only mass, density or solidity.
  • May be limited to affecting only others, themselves or objects.
  • Weight may cause an issue.
  • user may die from change in density.

Just having Density Manipulation alone make the MC either a Demi-God or something extremely close to being a Full God. Necromancy and Elemental Manipulation are the other powers I can think of that can make the MC like a Demi-God. Maybe Superhuman but idk since I still haven’t gotten around to trying it yet.

Edit: Now that I look at it again, I’m a little surprised that it even includes shapeshifting type of abilities.

I think God MC with all of those abilities including Density Manipulation is way past just God Mode. God Mode might not even be able to handle them properly. Probably more like a God Lord or something.
