It’s been said that Atheris can become your general in the future when you start to point people to take positions so I agree with you that marrying off a good relationship Atheris is not good since she can be trusted to watch the military for us when loyal, but yes I think you can marry the pirate sister.
This right here is why many people say first impressions don’t matter.
Can we also strip royal titles from some relatives of the family when they get into something they shouldn’t, like being in a relationship with a pirate or being involved with the enemy to conspire against the heir to the sword of the Kingdom? You know to opt for exile instead of fratricidal execution as the Ottomans did.
This sounds like a real bad move, to be honest. If they have enough motivation and support for you to care about their conspiracies, then exiling them just lets them continue the conspiracy while reducing your ability to monitor them.
But is it the same for brothers who covet those who only have a whim like dating a pirate? I mean, I say it for the sisters that one is competitive in being the heiress and the other unsure of what she wants in her noble life.
I mean, you can totally let Freya hang around, provided you’re prepared to deal with the inevitable backlash when the dating the pirate thing comes ot light. And I’ve only played the demo available here, but Atheris pretty much gave me the thumbs up when I got picked. There’s no need to exile either of them.
If someone is actually after the throne, though, exiling seems like a bad move.
