I was actually going comment on that. 
If there can be people who are fans of Murphy from Wayhaven (whose a psycho mad scientist vampire who injected the MC with his own blood just to get a strong power source), fans of Manerkol are likely going to exist too (and maybe even Dorlas).
At least Bain (whose name makes me think of the phrase ‘the bane to my existence’) is universally hated.

As for Manerkol, lololol, he gets both love and hate, and both reactions are valid in my eyes 
I enjoy both of them equally! I myself have moments where I both love and hate him, so I can easily understand the divide. Maybe my own thrist leaked into my writing as I was writing his scene? But wanting to sic Morkai and Straasa on him is more than understandable
And there have been Dorlasmancers too… Thankfully not for Bain. Dorlas thirst I could maybe handle but Bain is a big no for me
