Hi thanks for the romance guides, But I feel a little confused… I have some questions that might be… Spoilery but the blur thing doesn’t seem to be working.
You can do it manually too like this
This text will be blurred
I was wondering, has the MC always known about their intuition dream walk abilities and like how did there family react? Will the abilities and MC family show up at all in the next book considering the people that chose the shadows end ummm no family route and/or gave up the intuition stuff to try and get the dreams to stop?
And… You wouldn’t like share how the MC found out about their gifts?
Yes, this is possibly the one criticism I have - miss one cue and ‘adiós romance’… Wish we could have but one point less strict requirements, I’ve managed to miss too many in my play-throughs…
Ended up editing files, but that feels wrong too…
Ahaha, and I’m really glad you put the friendmance option there. It was worth the work, if I must say, since readers with preferences such as I could enjoy it.
One thing I noticed is that many people (including myself at the beginning), are confused at the three options: [1] flirtmance, [2] friendmance, [3] normal friendship. Like, I didn’t realize that friendmance is actually a romance path of its own. I think naming things differently or clearing up the confusion by putting in more description(s) will help confused readers.
But, back to the topic at hand, I’ll lavish praises on the friend-mance routes! It facilitates differing personalities the MC could have, and adds spice of its own into the mix.
For examples, [1] my confused and highly anxious MC was more at ease being with D when they didn’t have to take her brazen flirting seriously (or shyly in that matter). It also greatly fit into the MC’s background if we were to choose the darker backstory for them.
[2] In another playthrough, My wary but independent MC could be exude more mature and professional aura around S and M while slowly falling for them.
[3] In approaching E, the story took a somber and more melancholic turn when the MC treated her like a friend first. (To be fair, her character arc is already melancholic as it is, but the friendmance route really takes it up a notch). The moment when the MC realized that they harbored something more than sympathy for E was really good!
So, the friendmance routes so far really appeal to me
Ah yes, this. And that is where I wish the ‘points’ were more lenient. So many play-through I’ve been a point short for this or that and it is saddening.
…especially since I may be dense and not always see the difference between options, or realise I am about to miss a chance for a flirt/friendmance…
Overall, though, I love this game (just hope my poor character can find some peace in the next book, she’s about to crack from it all).
THIS! I totally had these heart-breaking moments too, and I was like, “What did I miss?! Why am I friend-zoned?!?!”
The restart button has become my friend after some disastrous playthroughs
Oh wow, I didn’t realize how extensive this game is. So many branches! I will replay it to get Morkai throw coin at my MC. I always find that scene funny and was sad when I thought it was replaced.
Just finished my first playthrough, I ended up with a shy MC that have a friendmance with S and I totally agree with D, that is freaking adorable.
Thanks for this wonderful book, while I was a bit disappointed at the cliffhanger ending, it also make me happy, cause now I know that will be a new book and it gonna be awesome too
Just finished my first playthrough last night - restarted a couple times because I couldn’t decide on a RO, then one final time to ignore everyone and get me some werewolf lady action.
Yep, Mornie is my pick. I don’t care that she’s a bit crazed (or not supposed to be a RO), my MC and I are very much into it. Also the uncontrolled shifting when she…uh…gets going. Yes. Very good. I like.
I need some help...
…I’d like to leave a comment here, but I have some mysterious issue with the Soul Stone War, I bought in Hosted Games app and played it yesterday but when I tried to play it again later that night, it takes forever to load, and after that, it says there is a network error, and the Soul Stone War is the only game have this problem, and if I download the game from Google Store it can be opened but if I want to play I need to buy it again…
I’m not saying it’s the Soul Stone War’s problem though, and I’ve sent a email to the support team and waiting for a reply, I just wanna try and see if anyone here knows how to help me….
Well it is opened now…damn I was about to give up.
Just wait for me to finish my first playthrough. SECRET RO! I’M COMING FOR U!
@Morgan_V I’ve tried to replay 3 times and i’ts not working. My friend is also trying this poly route and he’s got the same problem
These bellow are the options I’ve picked. I’m strictly following the guide, checking scene to scene.
As you can see, 4 flirt points. I do have 3 with Eledwen but only 4 with Daelynn, all the times I’ve tried to play.
As I said, I’m strictly following the guide, cheking it each scene where Dae appears.
Yet everytime I get to the post-troll fight scene, where the options to poly are to be picked, Dae and Elly’s poly is always gray, impossible to pick.
You are missing one point with Dae! Don’t you have another one on chapter 5?
No, I dont. My friend didn’t got it either.
@Nael You’re missing the ch6 flirt when you speak to both Elly and Dae about how they met. The choice reads like: #“I’d love to spend time with you, DaeDae…,” I admit with a flush, not realizing I used her nickname. OR #“Oh, I’m sure you’re loads of fun, DaeDae…,” I trail off suggestively.
It’s on the guide too.
My friend decided to reinstall the game instead of just restarting it (he passed through the chapter 6 flirt scene too, I just forgot to put it on my comment) and now it got accounted I’ll try to do the same thing.
Thanks for the attention!
May you look at my post on like 102?
@OddCatGuy Weeeell, I’m sure there will various options if you DO meet Mornie again, yes? And yes, the MC will get to see their village again if they so please… And all that entails
.
@Bookz23 Hey, there! The MC has known from a young age, yes, and so does their family, but it was something kept secret. And yes, you’ll get to go back if you want! And I’m afraid telling how the MC found out would be spoilery since you might get to see that, hm?
@Taylor_Enean The reason why the requirement is not the higher side is because I want there to be proper buildup. I dislike clicking literally no options that show interest other than friendship, and then be able to unlock romances. Plus, I think you can miss up to 2 cues before the romance goes bye bye.
@felz How would I put desciptions about the differences of friendmance/flirtmance in-game? It’s supposed to be immersive… I have answered questions about the differences many times, I don’t know what would make it more clear. Calling it oblivious romance maybe? But in any case, I’m sooo glad this route appealed to you! It can be funny at times too
I’m just a fan, but I think we will learn more about the intuition gift on the next books. It’s something I am really looking forward to
Doing an intuition focused run is super interesting, you get some parts of flavour text that are very intriguing
I must say, this game makes me feel like I am a detective at some point hehe
And commenting on the friendmance, I found the options to be very obvious. It always has something along the lines of “and I try to ignore how the way they look at me makes me feel”, or “trying to pay no attention to the way his hair shines”, if that is normal friendship for you guys, you have very interesting frienships
A great game definitely just got into my top 3, ah I just hope that in a future sequel I’ll be given the option to betray my two great loves (DaeDae and Eledwen)
