Oh yeah, someone else told me about that. They got 107% mental health, and honestly, would love that in real life.
I didn’t bother checking the stats yet unless they were important to the chapter because I’m still not 100% sure which ones I want to include I’m pretty sure I have the variables for health gains too high in my draft that’s why. I’ll try to change it later, there’s not a lot of gains anyway. They’re more of just to remind me I wanted this particular choice to make you gain something, this one to gain another, that kind of thing.
Don’t worry, they don’t matter yet in this particular chapter that’s why I didn’t check, but every time I write a new chapter/scene that needs these stats (like chapter one needs the deceit, wit, and charisma stats), I check and change the past gains accordingly.
Thank you so much!
There will be relationship stat checks for characters! With relationship stats, it’s mostly how willing they’ll be to help you, and for the romance stats, how easy they’ll be to romance. It won’t be that you’ll lose or anything if you don’t pass the checks, just that you’ll have to look for a plan B. And I’m trying to make sure the checks aren’t that hard to pass.
You’ll still mostly go where the story goes (which is two ways, golden or rosy) and just maybe lose some friends along the way (none of the main characters, though, but definitely more than one in book 1)
Tempted to make Chai easier to romance because there’s just so many interested in him… but nah, I personally love writing angst There won’t be a romance stat check in book 1 anyway, I don’t think so. Maybe the last chapter, but nothing too big. Books 2-4 will have more romance, this is the getting to know each other and flirtation stage.
