MMM will span about a week, and I’m not sure how long the sequels will span. In terms of word count, though, they’ll likely each be 250k.

Do all games here really need a sequel though? Oh well.

If you are going to do one, I envision a Hannibal Lector esque one with the main character in maximum security, while the newest investigator needs their help to solve a new string of murders happening on the street.

You’re complaining about more content? I’m a creative and ambitious person, and if I have lots of ideas for a story that I love writing, I would never be able to let them just sit around in my head.

Good guess, but I’m planning on something a lot different. You’ll see the general direction it’ll be going at the end of MMM.

Definitely. Though I have lots of other stories that I’m procrastinating on in order to write MMM, so the sequels could be a few years away.

The announcing of a (possible) sequel can certainly be a worthy cause for celebration. Well, at times.

My only concern with this prospect is attributed to the sad fact that some authors end up leaving the first series installment incomplete in a sense. Where it ends on a cliffhanger, and when done wrong is very unsatisfying.
I prefer a more self contained story but that’s just me.

Regardless, huzzah! More murders!

This is basically still going to be the same story, and it could be a stand alone if I wanted it to, but as I was brainstorming for the ending, I was a bit stuck, but finally realized where I wanted to go with it, and it included a much bigger arc. The main goal of the protagonist will still be reached in this installment.

Probably, but I’ll have to see as the story goes along. All the deaths I have planned right now are of main characters and integral to the plot.

I like the phantom mage type, you could do something like planting a voice from god or something in someone that tells them that you are a prophet, and this way you’d make a whole cult devoted to you.

I can not wait. I’ve been hoping for a game like this. If it doesn’t take away from the story, could you occasionally make references to classic horror franchises like, Child’s Play, Elm Street, Halloween, Friday 13th and the like?
