And no, I really mean a Chocolate citrus flavoured takoyaki. Have you ever heard of a Terry’s chocolate orange? (they’re very nice). I like to imagine Watanabe made an orange-chocolate mixture, then the Takoyaki was dipped in them, instead of the usual Takoyaki sauce. I really want to try some one day.

Yes. Is all I will say for now, as that breaches spoiler territory.
But also, I have an update to share, so I will type it here rather than posting again.
I know there has not been much progress over the last few months, and while I partly blame my increased shifts at my workplace for that, I must admit it’s mostly because I have been hyperfixating on the code for implementing the blackjack minigame, as it has turned out to be more complex than I initially anticipated.
So, I have decided to cut it initially. But I also don’t want to lose all the code I wrote for it, so when the update is eventually finished, I will release the code for the blackjack in a separate file, so I can keep working on it in my spare time, and will eventually implement it in the main game whenever it is finished.
So while this is mostly an “I’m not dead, still working on it” post, it’s also me saying that I’m cutting out the part that has been frustrating me the most, so I anticipate an eventual update much sooner than if I were to keep trying to work out the blackjack code.

The writing is pretty good, direct to the point and professional level, no purple prose like some other stories.
I will admit however the gameplay aspects of the story is annoying, constantly dying and rewinding and getting stuck due to stat checks is just really pissing me off. The story should be allowed to go on or at least we are given the choice even if you fail the stat checks.
It feels more like a game and not a story tbh, aside from that the characters and writing is pretty likeable. Very unique and anime like, a personal favorite of mine. It’s just the gameplay aspect thats frustrating.
Im stuck on chapter 2 and can’t move on. I have to probably restart the story to somehow boost my stats now smh.
