Time travel is possible but very difficult, and pretty much completely illegal. I won’t say whether you will or won’t encounter it, but it is certainly not impossible.
All I’ll say is that in most cases, a person doesn’t know their element before enrolling at school. Very few mages are powerful enough to start bending using their elemental powers without training, and while private testings are possible, they’re uncommon, expensive, and in most cases pointless.
The kind of boots my mc wants to go with the archaic breeches do fall a bit on the expensive side. I guess while we still have the trust fund that’s not really a problem tho…the later chapters on the other hand.
You could maybe also expand a bit on what kinds of things would typically be included in the various styles like @Snoe does in freak amidst the neon lights. Though of course Firsty is technically an adult and can dress more overtly sexy or provocative if they wish than the mc here.

Well the kind of silk stockings you’d wear to look like an old-fashioned dandy should be white, I guess gray would do in a pinch but the others would be horrid with the boots and breeches combo.

No non-human romance. I might put in a bad ending where you just stay with the elves forever, and maybe you can choose to snuggle up to a cute elf guy, but that would just be a single scene, not an actual path. Obviously, this is very much up in the air.
While the jacket’s cut is quite unflattering, if opting for breeches (and boots) in the air colours along with a nice shirt and the cravat the guy’s outfit actually can be quite decent, even dandy-ish on a cute enough guy if also quite old-fashioned, but then ladies and a fair few gents do like regency styling, so…
So ditch the jacket and suddenly the outfit can be quite good actually.

Since the author called their guys cute I assume they lean more towards the sexy types of elves, maybe the other ones are also present but actually called something different, like goblins.

Honestly, I’m only not telling you anything so that I can put it all into the actual lessons without having to worry about who told you what earlier… The characters aren’t trying to be cagey. Okay, some are, but they’re the minority.

I don’t quite see them as assholes, so much as ignorant students that haven’t bothered to stop, think and ask the questions we have. Unless the ones that do get mind controlled by the higher ups.
