There are 10 contestants, including yourself. So 9 people you’ll get to meet and befriend/be cordial with all of them, or get all of them to hate you (which is an achievement actually LOL).
Their genders all vary. One person’s gender you can choose. 
There’s only one additional romance option out of these bunch right now. There’s one other RO that you’ll meet in this update too.
Here’s the list of the descriptions for most of them. I’m omitting a few until the update, but I’m excited for y’all to meet them all. Please keep these under spoiler tags for people that don’t wanna know 
Contestants
- Somebody from your hometown. (Gender is player’s choice)
- A female who has lost the past two shows she has been on.
- An airy headed female who swears she’s secretly a Fae.
- A former athlete who is now in a wheelchair.
- A popular vlogger who really just wants to increase his following, but wouldn’t mind winning too.
- A booksmart individual who seems to really like puns…

I can’t even imagine how much coding that’s going to take because of all the possible personality types your MC can have, especially when you’re also writing so many different scenes between the MC and the heir. Looking forward to future updates!

Side thought on my terminology… You aren’t really a “con” if you aren’t technically convicted in a court of law though, right? More like you were on the wrong side of the law for a while…
I wonder how thoroughly we’ll be able to say things along the lines of “that was my life, and I hated it because I had no where else to go until I found a true safe place to land later.” and “I’m where I want to be, career satisfaction notwithstanding.” vs the “Nah, I’m a crook to the core.” mindsets.
Nothing wrong with this level of flexibility, but it might get chaotic and cause a different end-game state where the MC is arrested, or possibly killed by their…former associates I guess we’ll call them? Being on the run could mean either law enforcement, your own partners in crime, or literally both. My own hc is my MC is running from a bad gang that started to get worse, and wanted out. Thing is…now that the gang’s spilt blood you don’t just leave.

I plan for you to be able to have the option to tell the ROs of your past, if you’d like! Whether you’re on the good side of the law or not. Of course, this will also depend upon if somebody else finds out about your life and blurts something out before you can…but this would be pretty hard to do unless you make it your life’s mission to be hated or you piss a lot of people off haha.
At the very least, you can tell which ever RO/ROs you’re interested the details of your past, if you choose to. Addressing and visiting your hometown/past is actually one of the challenges…
I’ll be fleshing out exactly why you’re on the run in a future update, so keep that headcannon going
