Oh I figured my Mc’s parents weren’t the nicest so they ran away due to this.got mixed in a bad crowd and decided they wanted a new life, and maybe owe the wrong people money

Lovely news everybody, an update will be coming this FRIDAY!
For real this time. Ask my testing team, it seriously is all ready to go. I would push it tonight, but I want to make sure a few others get a chance to play and talk about it before I do release, as it is the holidays.
I’m absolutely buzzing to release this. It’s been two months in the making! There’s flirting, joking, jealousy and more galore in this update and I think it’ll be a fun ride.
Question for ya…who are you most interested in spending time with or talking to at the moment? Also, who do you think will be showing up in the update?

I actually want to spend time with Bex. We may have seen him before we leave but it also we be nice to run into him again. If not, then maybe Leon. It would be interesting to encounter him as well.

I dunno if a couple of my MC’s would agree with that sentiment, but even if they don’t enjoy it, dealing with things like interviews should be a fun path to take. That one journalist (who was very adamantly against Odessa Dates) would be an interesting encounter. Will she be polite? Hostile because you’re a participating contestant? That could go so many directions.

Well, this is it! Update day. Buckle up, y’all, you’re in the big city now. Welcome to Dia, Odessa’s capital city! People from all walks of life live here and now you get to explore amongst them. You have the option to explore a bookstore, a market and many more places. This update brings the entire demo to over 170k!
What’s new in this update:
- First of all, you’re able to explore many places in Dia, which includes a bookstore, a market, a rally and more! I encourage you to replay this section with different character types. No playthrough should be the same!
- Spend time with your roommate, Mozelle and many others! You can do anything from flirt to being downright mean to them, if you want LOL.
- Read books in Alvina’s bookstore, eat food from all over Odessa in the market, grab coffee or whatever floats your fancy in the Steamy Bean and much much more.
- This is the first update implementing stat checks, so be on the lookout for that! Your relationship and stats will determine what characters tell you, how they react around you and more.
- Meetings with the heir have been tweaked a bit. I’ve reworded a few scenes and reworked a few answers.
- Fixed a bug where the default heir’s appearance would not appear in the stats screen.

Added a new section called “It’s Competition Season”, which will let you know what the contestants think about you. There’s only contestant there at the moment and it’s a HUGE spoiler, so don’t click on the tab unless you want to be spoiled

- Plus, a whole bunch of new shit I’ve forgotten!
As with all updates, I have a one week spoiler policy. Please put anything city related behind spoiler tags or underneath the summary tag if you’d like to discuss it or gush about it. After next Friday, all tags are off. My team and I will be flagging until then if you do not do so.
Since any upcoming new content will be towards the beginning of the game and throughout the first half of the current two chapters, I currently have no password set up anywhere in the game!
I also have a few new achievements throughout the game! If you hit them, let me know how you like them and the names I picked out 
Finally, please don’t ask when the next update is coming BEYOND the city content. Again, PLEASE don’t ask when the next update is coming BEYOND the city content. Plans after this update include going back and adding the spy and guard routes, as well as fleshing out the on the run background, which I expect will take anywhere from two weeks to possibly a month. I also have some other projects I’ve neglected because I’ve been working on this, so I’m going to go work on those before I come back
