That is why I often tell people there may be another way to get a certain achievement, especially if it is in a large game (Choice of Magics comes to mind).

Sorry I couldn’t be more help. I think you may have to do every spy in one go, but I admit there might be a few other parts I missed. For example, maybe Mona might be able to help with it.
Something else you might try: If you enter the dueling tournament, and beat the big guy…one option is to make use of his government’s spy network. This is mentioned used to tracking down Vincent, but it might also raise your Spy value.

This one I got by entering the fencing tournament. Eventually you will face the Kanzler - in this case you have to lose. For example, I started as an artist, avoiding anything which would choose combat. Then, when I faced Kanzler, I picked the third option (Knocking over wireless equipment, and setting things on fire). I figure the other options would have probably worked…since I wasn’t prepared to fight him, the other ‘entity’ within you saves you.

I still can’t believe I didn’t hit the result for the Monarch of the Underworld. Of course, some of the other achievements sort of require the player to fail at things.
I did that and i followed her. Does anything else involving romance is happening there? I don’t think i got anything that would specificaly said that i’m romancing her aside from maybe getting a little smile from her that i’m still around. So i’m not sure if i didnt got her stat high enough to initiate romance or she is just timid for now and it will develop from here so i’m good to go?
In the last chapter, there should be a choice about what we want to do , i saw 2 of them are going to look for her and another was Chloe
I chose chloe, i think that should be the final romantic interaction which carry over to the epilogue…
Even with chloe… the romance interaction was not heavy, simply based on heartful sentiment between us
Okay, how do you get “Impresario” and “Wealth and Fame” bc I’ve tried staying close to the Grand Guignol or doing anything related to it and I still can’t get it.
I’ve tried to find more evidence but still not enough.
How do I unlock the immortality achievement? I tried to max my occult knowledge to about 70 but it didn’t work.
Also, how do I see the picture of Sebastian? The furthest I could get is an introduction from him.
Is there going to be a part two? Many of the non-romantic alliances with other characters do not seem to affect the development of the story, and were a waste of my time. E.g. Rescuing Lara de Winter, returning the White Devil to his family, returning the heart to the heartless creature.
To inherit wealth, what I did was to get into Thallo’s room and find his correspondence with MC’s cousin, and then resist against the god. To resist the god:
Have high performance stat. or, inspire Julian to compose music to you, or have high occult knowledge.
I also had the ring from the child who spotted MC in Oubliette, not sure if that helped. Having Lara de Winter was not useful at all, if I remember correctly.
I really enjoy this game, even though I wish some of my kind deeds payed off. The world building is great, the choices are interesting, the story is engaging. There are a variety of sub plots available, from magic to espionage to organising revolution. The stats are a little confusing though, like what does stamina correspond to, what does mental ability correspond to - rationality or insight? I wish some loose ends are tied, like what happens to Thallo’s family, what happens to Lara, what happens to the heartless man, what happens to the mental asylum. I wish there’s part 2 to explore what the MC did with the remaining years of his life. I’m thirsty for MORE.
For immortality, you need research >60, for this achievement it’s essential to rescue holoferenes right away, help the white devil escape, and succeed in the corpse retrievement mission.
For sebastion painting, during the party entrance choice, fail to persuade the carriage lady, then sebastion will show up help you get in, then the achievement will eventually appear
I rescued holoferenes right away from the mob, helped the white devil and retrieved a corpse from the graveyard. Still, my research stat is only a measly 33. Why?
here are all the ways to increase research:
-rescue Holofernes from the asylum right away, no detours, have her just focus on research
-brainwash dr. Tausk
-successfully detect the torn petal
-help the white devil escape
-retrieve the corpse intact
-help Holofernes with her research underground
I did this with a scientist background of 68, you should end up with 60+ research guaranteed
I like this game, but it’s kinda like my old lover, nice, sweet, caring, responsible, sexy, but short in certain areas, like length, ado Headless Horseman.
Thx for answering the “Wealth and Fame” achievement but what about the other. How do you get Impresario?
And is there no other way to get rid of the jerk thief other than blackmail? (Which I saw that it worked for the spy achievement but you needed the right stats to work)
To get Impresario, get a high theatre score. Successfully help the theatre at the beginning, help/talk to Merrit whenever you can. Not sure what else I did.
This was such an enjoyable game.
