The Lost Heir Trilogy

In the last game you need at least 30 magic, 50 perception and max charm.

I’m playing it again, since 2018 (and I played it several times)… I’m replaying the second one 'cause I couldn’t save our friend (the Red) from Selina and I can’t let them die.
This game is one of my favourite, if not the most… (I feel conflicted to chose between TLH and Breach) :rofl:

How do you save the friend?

Lose the siege.

As @Urban mentioned, your MC has to lose the siege. When fighting them, you’ll have to select ā€œI am not going to kill you.ā€ This will make your MC lose that battle.

Or you can use your necromantic powers to raise them from the dead! (Minus their personality bits)

Haven’t done that class yet.

So i’ve google and searched around aloooot, but can’t find the answer i need. Basically i’ve finished LH2 and began LH3, aiming for rune warrior, also having blademaster as well. I managed to get wizard as a second class so i could get a familiar as well.
My issue is i’ve looked up the list of familiars and such and ive heard you can get a demon familiar? but idk the conditions to get it, or if any wizard, non- demon summoner, can get that familiar at all. Cuz it either that one or ima have to pick between a raven/crow or a firedrake and i just cant decide x.x that y i need help!

You can be a wizard or any other class that can have a familiar. You just can’t have picked a familiar or companion yet to get Za’bin.

I have a question
when you challenge the orc chieftain in LH2 she says you have no orc blood.
so if you choose your wizard ancestor to be half-orc or pure-orc you could be able to challenge her for orc chiefdom?
@Lucid

I just realized something–becoming a Soulburning Catalyst for Jess/Jace when they are your royal consort and later spouse, is literally invoking and weaponizing the power of love. It makes using it in the final battle even sweeter.

@kamyKTS
I don’t think so. The wizard PC did not necessarily sleep with a royal and produce a child with them, and it is not necessarily true that the child survived LoaW if they did (a male wizard who slept with Emily could kill Travis, and a female wizard that slept with Gareth could kill Eric, even though the boys are their biological children). And even if they were part or full orc and made their child the ruler of Daria (or married their child to Eric/Travis), enough time and generations have passed between LoaW and the beginning of TLH that the PC is indistinguishable from any pureblood human.

Hi guys, I wanted to know if there’s a way to keep alive both Jace/Jess and Peter/Petra (Only them) for TLH2. It seems that High relationship in their case depends on which side you are between the two of them. For me Peter/Petra died poisoned by Selina that is revealed at the beginning of TLH2 because he/she was the second one I had low relationship I presume. Karl/Karla died at the end of TLH1 and it’s ok, I don’t care about them but how can I make Theo/Thea dies at Peter/Petra’s place at that point?

I have even a second question for my second playthrough where I’m doing a Peter/Petra romance. I read I can turn them Evil at a certain point if I have High Evil. Which one?

Most of the guides from this thread will end with Jess/Jace and Peter/Petra alive. I don’t think it’s possible to have Theo/Thea die in TLH1, but it is in TLH2

It is possible to kill Theo/Thea (if they have the lower relationship of the two you send to scout out Zusak in Vernex in TLH1 and you want to reconquer Tornassa, or if you botch the Thuja battle (no Belt of Speed, one unnecessarily dead friend, but at least you’re alive!) when you haven’t sent them to Zusak). However, it’s easy/intuitive enough to raise their relationship that most people don’t get them to a low enough relationship where they become the Red Warrior . Plus, I like their character, so I probably wouldn’t let them die even on an evil playthrough.

Turning a character Evil isn’t something that happens as such, but you can turn them into a vampire.

It happens later in the book not in the first one right? Anyway I wanted to know it in the case I wanted to do a Peter/Petra romance but since he/she can’t become evil I decided Jace/Jess to be my canon Love Interest

Doing that happens in the third book.

In what jobs(?) can i get specialized training?

Define specialized training. If by that you mean class levels greater than 2, pretty much any class other than Scribe, Nature Guide (although leveling Squire/Knight over level 1 is not worth it IMO because you can get the promotion for free [without having to pick it as one of your levels] in LH2, and the stat bonuses are small), or the end-game classes such as Dragon Knight, Siren, or Catalyst (which are extremely worth it) can be specialized.

If by specialized training, you mean unlocks a new class, then Nature Guide in LH1 (after finishing the Sheep job with T) unlocks Druid or Ranger if you have the stats for it (you cannot have both Druid and Ranger levels in the same playthrough). Guards can get War Master from Vale in LH2. Squire/Knight + Priest + Cleric (itself a specialization of Priest) + Good God = Paladin. Completing some of the sidequests in the beginning of LH2 will increase your versatility and even unlock new classes; for example, J’s quest gets you the Catalyst class (which is excellent thematically AND mechanically if you are romancing them) in LH3. If you have the Book of the Dead as an Evil Wizard or Priest, you can become a Necromancer. Thieves/Assassins can become Shadow Weavers if they have magic and certain items in Book 2. This is just scratching the surface of how many specialized classes there are; you can acquire them through training, through stat arrays, or even by being at the right place at the right time. The possibilities are endless!
