Why do u guys want to alter sex of MC from Mega? Didnt u read the “story” so far, didnt u read comics about superheroes, especially about superman. Tell me why would mad scientist want to create a clone of her “nemesis” with other gender, this not make much sense, especially in this “situation”. If the story was moving in another direction changing gender MB would have its plays, but not in this situation IMO:p

I think it’s born out of habit. We are so used to choosing the gender of our MCs in a direct manner that when we find something that doesn’t follow that specific direction, it stands out. In this case there’s been other games where you chose the gender of an NPC but the game would always go back to let us choose the gender of our MC. So I think it just stands out for others that by choosing another character’s gender you also end up choosing your own in the process. Just my opinion of course. Others may differ.

Im a sucker for good parental figures(well vera is relatively good parent AFAIK even as a genocidal villain, like shes all been good to mc and does not treat her like just a weapon)
I really like the story you made, easy to follow. I feel this is gonna be hard trying to be hero considering you can make mega-b as second chance giving as possible, you know stndrd hero personality
But How bout vera gave you your own room(or maybe she let you sleep beside her in the bed?) and also heleped you decorate it wwith fluffy stuff or
A mega-b dartboard and like 3 bullseye darts from you and 2 out of the ring shot from vera but 1 managed tohitt tthe side.
You know something to make more bond with the mc and vera so that theres more attachment to the relationship and less reason for mc to suddenly betray vera.
Or maybe like you both go out for ice cream or she introduces you to her hobbies. I think thats what your trying to get the mc feel but i just wanted to share
Like the thinking is like "my mother has been nothing but good to me why should i betray her? Or when vera tells you to to rob a bank together “no problemo but maybe we can spare inocent civvies except for that one over there i dont like that guy’s hairdo”

I liked what I read.
Especially the fact that I can play a good person doing criminal thing because her dear mother wanted it. I like having an ingenuous person.
I really hope to fight with the original, but almost friendly. Like a child who is playing with a Friend, without wanting to really hurt him, while the other take it really seriously.
And then understand that Nemesis is not a bad person. Just a child that love their mommy and want to make her proud just to see her smile (as long as order are not cruel, rob a bank is really ok as long as I don’t have to kill or really hurt someone, it can be fun).
Vera is really good to her child. They have no reason to betray her. They don’t really understand how world work, they only have what their mother told them.
And as far as I can see, she doesn’t raise us to become a psychopat.

She is a villain so I don’t know why she wouldn’t ask you to kill her enemies for her, since that’s the most effective way to get rid of them in her line of work next to causing them to be in a coma for the rest of their lives. Not to mention she seems to be based off of Lex Luther who is definitely someone who’s comfortable with taking people out entirely to further his goals.

Good thing for you: Mega-Woman/Man and the Clone don’t need to eat or drink to survive since their bodies are always absorbing ambient energy through their skin. You can still eat but you get no benefit from it… And no negative consequences either. Stares at table filled with sugary sweets.

But my character has some free will, and despote loving her mother and wish to please her, she won’t accept a killing job. Doesn’t mean I’ll stop working for her.
Heh, even if I don’t kill her ennemies, I czn fight against them and beat them. I don’t need to kill to win a fight.

What’s logical about her wanting you to let her enemies live so they can hinder her plans in the future? I agree that you do have free will to kill or not kill your enemies since that’s a choice players always want and should have. But, I don’t know how that wouldn’t damage your relationship with Vera. Beating super heroes just takes them out temporarily, but in no way does it extinguish the desire to defeat you, in fact it causes the opposite because now they’ll come at you harder than before.

I’m not saying it wouldn’t damage a relation. But relationship can go one way. She can see you as a brother, even a threat while you can still love her and remain loyal.
And when she abandon you… It’s when it can really hurt thé character and made them think about what they did.
Do they want now to regain their mother love and try to kill MM/MW? Do they understand what their mother really is and try to stop her (despote still loving her) or did they want to go their own way?
