Iām wondering if thatāll be a separate playthrough on Earth or if they decided to send ships to check on everyone.
Also is there a guide for the first game?
A return to Earth would be impossible. No one is going to spend another 1200 years travelling back to Earth. A third story set from the bunker is a future possibility but it would be a standalone game.
I donāt think there is a guide for the first game. The best option is to read through the forum as I made the game as there is a lot of discussion and likely a few hints there.

UPDATE:
The Demo has been updated to 15k words. You can now complete the challenges and finalise your role on Kepler 62e, although you have to choose carefully to get the exact role you want.
Two possible love interests and a nod to a third have started as well.

Well thatfirst part is unfortunate. Was hoping to have a sort of Alpha Centauri situation here.
Also, if thereās other countries showing up, will they be specified? Curious how that works out if you make your own country. What if thereās duplicates?

To cater for players of different countries, I do a country swap. Being British, by default I have you play as a Brit. The Americans are a nation you can meet. If you want to be American, then itās the Britās you meet instead. Most dialogue between these two countries is the same, making it an easy switch. I have a similar switch for the other nations.
I agree across-world contact with Earth would be great, but itās impossible in reality. After every trip 1200 years would have passed meaning whoever you were liaising with (also impossible in a practical sense - itās would take decades or more to send a single message) would be dead.
At present we donāt know the status of the deep Earth bunker and Iām definitely keeping that option alive for a future one-off story.

DEMO UPDATE!
We are now up to 25k words.
In this update, you learn some important information about the landing process. Iāve designed it so that you can see it from two different view points. In the full game, you will only see one of those views.
Iāve also added the French song, Vers Kepler to the game as while there were only 3 poll votes, all went to the same song. The exact use of these nation songs will be disclosed at a future date. For now, you can enjoy them from the title menu.

A quick reminder: with the next update the story will become linear again. That means if you havenāt played the current demo where you can see both timelines, now is the time to do it. After Saturday, you will be locked into one or the other based on your choices.

UPDATE! (30k words and a new song)
With the poll a tie at 3 votes each, I have chosen to release Spread the Seeds, by Amela le Mara. This is a song from Earth and a call for all countries to work together to save humanity. It is the sixth song hit song she released and comes after he biggest hit, (city) lights.
The demo has also been updated and has reached the 30k words mark. To really get the most out of this demo, be honest.

What happened if you have a Fully generation ship with luxury try only so 14,000 people basically a living breathing colony which will have chance to advance and evolve through the journey itās 1,200 years and with that much resources they will have very different advantage since they unlike other can continue to function remember these are the best of the best you are sending and I think generation ship still have a option since even if you choose cryogenic ship one slot still have to be generation for maintenance since otherwise it will die so there should be taken into account what kinda ship players send in the previous game as it will effect the status and just starting new feel like a entirely new game.
