The Future of the Aliciaa (WIP)

Update on Production of Demo

The rest of this week and next week, I have no school and work to do. (Surprisingly :stuck_out_tongue:)
I will finally be starting to get to creating the demo. I would like to thank everyone for supporting my idea. I am a beginner (…sort of) at coding with the… choice of games… thing? :joy: (Whatever it’s called… :joy:) Help is much wanted, and welcome. Just to help, and get an idea, I would like someone to code this into to the demo, and PM me.

The year is 2028. You live in Chicago. (Modern day Gelgon.) All states are surrounded by giant domes to keep the pollution out. A nuke had been dropped at the Pacific Ocean in 2020, to protect everyone from the UAR’s. The humans felt threatened, and felt this the only way to deal with the UAR’s. The ‘Unknown Alien Race’. They invaded in 2018. They have the ability to take the appearance of anything they want. That includes humans. But one thing makes it apparent that they are alien, and that is that they have a gray scar-looking line on the side of their head. They can also speak any and every language they hear.
They tried to take over Earth at first, but, like humans, they get bored and lazy. But are also highly intelligent. They thought that taking over Earth would be a waste of time because us humans weren’t as advanced at the time, so they decided to just find peace, and become alliances. The USA had planned to nuke them whilst they were travelling to Russia to trade supplies. The idea of the domes was thought of and started during the beginning of 2019. Once they finished, they dropped the nuke.
On a more positive note, everything is more advanced. The buildings have strong motherboards, and robots are very common. Some cyborgs that want to be human, and some robots that wanted to work, and dedicate the rest of their robot lives to humans. (Which usually last around 50 years until they break themselves down on the inside, and need to be replaced.)
There are flying cars, actual hoverboards, everything you’d expect. Taxes aren’t high, world hunger was solved, along with homelessness. Everything big. Not absolutely everything is fixed, though. But President Cosette Faye solved every one of the bigger ones. She also passed a law where UAR’s can walk around as humans. They have to follow every law that humans do, and are required to wear clothes. (They didn’t at first, and that bothered many people.) Though, many people still don’t like or accept them, where a few could really care less, as long as they follow the laws.
Back to a more important note, you are an Aliciaa. Aliciaa’s are people with a magical power. They are acquired them from a UAR and human ‘mate’. But all Aliciaa’s recorded have taken advantage of their power, and become what you could call evil. Mob bosses and parts of mob’s. Supervillains. ‘Evil’ people like that. The two most wanted Aliciaa are the first ones, not to mention siblings. Their names are Juliana Akeldama, and her brother, Allanta Akeldama. Or, at least translated. But the AWCC takes care of them. Aliciaa Watch, Control and Elimination. To explain vaguely, that’s what they do. Or, to put more specifically, capture, torture, and illegally experiment on every single one of them. Did I mention that they don’t care if they die or not?

Be aware that this is just a draft, and will make many, many edits to this. This was where my original idea sort of came from. (I apologize for the terrible mess I created when I was half awake. :joy:)

Any help or suggestions of the story-line is always welcome. PM’ing or commenting are options. I would be happy if you commented, but PM’ing is always welcome. :relaxed:

I like the spoiler “update”. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yea that’s it. :joy: Thanks.
I’ll be working my ass off, with my nose to the grindstone for the sake of the readers, with ChoiceScript. :joy:

- UPDATE -
Ok, minor setback…
I have zero idea on how to use ChoiceScript.
I would like help from someone who knows how to use ChoiceScript, and I am not very willing to pay someone to do so.
If there is anyone willing to help me sort of ‘get’ ChoiceScript, (sort of know the basics of the code,) please PM me. The help is much needed.

im-sorry-what-5a13aa

I would also like to know if Windows 10 Notebook is compatible with coding, and how to make it into a link.

I’m quite sure almost all pc/laptop can, even phone(still try to figure out how to upload files from phone to dashingdon though).

You mean how to make it playable in dashingdon? If so,

here are how

you have to make account in dashingdon.com, and then at your account (it’s will called “Dashboard”) there going to be “Create Game” at top left of the screen.

“Create Game” will looks like this(in pc):

If you done, press “Create Game” directly below this,

you have to at least fill the name of your game for dashingdon to able to “Create Game”.

After that, you will be at “Upload Asset for “[your game name here]””. There you can upload the files of the game, it will looks like this:
DashingDon_assets

Select “Browse” and then choose which file that uploaded, my advice is upload startup.txt first since it is essential.

Below, there going to be link to the scene of your current game, you can review it there.

And finally to share the playtest link, all you have to do is copy the game link and then paste it in main post.

Hope this help :slightly_smiling_face: anyone is free to correct me if I wrong!

And as for learning ChoiceScript, I myself also have hard time learning it, I now understand the basic is because I like looking other game code, I learn faster that way.

Thank you so much! I didn’t know about Dashingdon, so this is a great help. I’ll be sure to get to this right away! Now, nose back to the grindstone. :joy:

– NEWS –

I will not be continuing this WIP any longer. My computer cannot handle what is contained in the files for ChoiceScript, including JavaScript, and most of the documents. I don’t know why it’s happening, but after a few weeks of trying to figure it out, I’m deciding that I don’t have any more patience left.

I am deeply sorry about getting your hopes up, and making you wait for a demo that won’t be released. I hope that somewhere down the road, I can figure out why my computer is acting up, fix it, and actually create a demo for a game that will be released.

Deepest apologies,
Kristina
