Hello, and thank you! I’m really glad you’re enjoying it!

Truth be told, I do feel like the first chapter is long overdue for a rework. Over time I’ve made a lot of small rewrites, additions, and changes, and more than once have people pointed out that I accidentally left old versions of dialogue in after rewriting them. It’s a bit messy.

There are also quite a few scenes that were added later based on the feedback I got, and because of that they can sometimes feel a bit out of place. The toy scene is one of them, I didn’t properly condition it to only appear for certain versions of the MC, so it can sometimes feel out of place.

I do plan to go back and give Chapter 1 a proper overhaul eventually. I also want to add a childhood prologue after the fight with the dragon (it’ll probably be optional though).

I really would like to play the Demo, but quick Save sadly doesnt work for me still.

Hello, I remember you mentioned this a while back, but I honestly don’t know if there’s anything I can do about that.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t all the save features handled by the CoGDemos site? Is there even anything I can do to fix or even to break that?

Eh stop using quick save beyond that not much im aware of its not something the author can fix my understanding.

@RGHV to my knowledge its not something on your end of things unless there is a button or the like you didn’t happen to click whatever the method for letting it handle saves.

There’s no separate button for allowing quicksave, allowing saves is all or nothing. (Also it works fine for me, which wouldn’t happen if it was somehow not allowed.)

Its just strange, cause I had that same issue with multiple demos on here. But one after the other it disappeared and I could Save them as normal again. Except for this one.^^’

Which is a shame, cause I really liked what I saw so far. Though I mostly play on my phone and thus have to make sure my phone doesnt reload the application, if I have to tab out of it to do something else.

Rather inconvenient after a certain point.^^’

I can try giving it a go on PC though. See if that changes anything.

Update 10 (11/09/2026)

Hello everyone! Yes, I’m still alive, and no, the WIP hasn’t been abandoned lol.

First of all, I want to apologize, because five months without an update is way too long. There have just been a lot of things going wrong over the last few months. I burned myself out a bit with the previous update, then there was A LOT of work on top of that. I also got a bit disheartened by a few kind of nasty messages I got. On top of already having very little free time, whenever I did have some time to write, I just wasn’t really feeling up to it, so I kept putting it off.

But like I said before, I might delay some updates or take some breaks, but I won’t ever abandon this WIP. Hopefully, though, I won’t ever take a break this long again.

Anyway, now that we’ve got that out of the way, what’s actually new in this update?

This is the start of Theresa and Ecbert’s routes like promissed! The update is about 65k words bringing the total size to 466k words, although I believe only around 20k of that is actually NEW content.

There was a travel section for each location, and the dialogue and character development are pretty much the same as they were when traveling to Laphis, just adapted to the different context. So that ended up bloating the total word count quite a bit.

Currently, I’ve written a decent chunk of Theresa’s route and the very beginning of Ecbert’s. My original plan was to write a good bit of both routes and release them together, but I realized that it had already been way too long since I last gave the game an update, and I’ll probably be buried in work again soon. So I decided to release it as it is for now and continue working on Ecbert’s section whenever I can before releasing it as a .5 update.

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it! Sorry again for the long delay, and the disappointing amount of content after such a long wait, but it was the best I could do. Both routes are still very much works in progress, so if you have any suggestions or there’s something you really want to see or do, feel free to let me know. Also I haven’t had time to fully test it out yet, so if there’s any errors please let me know.

And as always, thank you all so much for the support! I really missed all of this!

Seriously, who would bother with harassment? It’s a story about a dragon-human hybrid potentially taking over the world (at least that’s my endgoal, not sure about you guys) with deeply romantic-feeling romances, what more do people want? If someone doesn’t like the story for some reason I can’t comprehend, just don’t read it.

Your work is brilliant. Don’t doubt yourself over someone who they can not appreciate great writing and an amazing story. You are not responsible for what their mind can comprehend. Welcome back, thank you for your amazing WiP, one I will buy for sure when it comes out, and keep up the great job you have done thusfar.

Ignore the idiots; some people are just miserable and want everyone else to be miserable with them. The story is great so far; keep it up.
