What are the requirements for the poly exactly?
You’ll need to be romancing Arael, have a high Arrogance stat to trigger Lyra’s teasing scene back at the camp, choose the option to feel attracted to her in the desert, and once in Laphis, buy her the earrings and insist on not giving up on her.
After that, all you have to do is talk to Arael, and face the consequences, lol.
honestly thinking back on it my comments at the start had a pretty one track mind with the revenge thing but damn if this story isnt growing to be super balanced with so much more to offer. gonna take a ton of playthroughs to experience it all! great stuff!
Hopefully it’ll still be a fun read on the other playthroughs! I tried hiding different bits of lore behind certain choices to make a second run feel a little more interesting too.
The secret harem route, lol.
I think I forgot to add the checks so that the bar doesn’t go over 100%, I’ll fix it once I finish a little extra I’ll add along with Cassiel’s scene.
hi there.
if i remember correctly, then we/the player are the only ones (atleast from MC´s “faction”) who knows about Ashens involvement in the destruction of Emberford.
my idea/suggestion is about the possible options after Ashen reveals his involvement to the MC.
instead of only having the options “be angry” VS “stay calm”, it could be interesting to have multiple different “be angry”-options, but with different reasonings.
e.g.:
i hope this is fine for a suggestion.
i’ve never commented on one of these before but i had to make an account just to say that seeing my relationship going up with azgor after saying ‘that’s nice’ to him describing how a dragon marks its mate is probably the sweetest thing i’ve ever seen playing an IF before ![]()
Just been playing through from the beginning and spotted an error in early chapter 2, when examining the horns from the transformation for the battle at emberford.
Despite leaving Arael behind, the story still mentions examining the changes using the reflection on her shield.
C 1,000% I will always choose this one
When choosing what your motivation for taking over Laphis is, I only had the option to become the ruler. I understand that you need to be romancing Arael to put her on the throne, but what are the requirements for choosing the worship option?
Even the MC doesn’t fully know how involved Ashen was; all they know is that he now has Argus’ crown. But I really like the idea. I wouldn’t leave such an important scene to something as simple as just “angry” or “calm” choices, there will definitely be more variations, like you suggested. But I wont talk much about it to avoid spoilers hehe.
Oh, I forgot to change that part, thanks for letting me know!
That’s the hardest one to get, you need your Arrogance above 100 and to have accepted Azgor’s offer at the end of Chapter 1.
Well I certainly wasn’t expecting a poly option, but I’m very here for it. Is there any chance of it being possible as a Selfless warden? Maybe in future chapters if not now? I don’t mind a slower burn, but I’d hate to be locked out of it for the crime of being selfless, haha. Arael is my girl, but Lyra was my second pick for sure, so it’s a very nice possibility.
You’ll need to be a bit arrogant at the start to pique her interest, even though you’re already with Arael. But your MC can gradually start changing later, becoming kinder and more selfless.
If nothing else, Ashen has resolve.
Hello everyone! Just a quick update: the battle is still going to take a while to finish, so I decided to add a small extra story in the meantime, since we haven’t had one since the Azgor chapter. It’s around 4k words for anyone who wants to read it, and of course it isn’t required for the main story.
Also, we passed 100k views on the CoG demos! Thank you all so much for the constant support! Honestly, without it I wouldn’t be nearly as motivated to keep writing and exploring this world. So, truly, thank you!
