yeesh, here i thought the marshal from the forgotten one had it rough but you managed to create an even more tragic and monstrous living weapon for their masters to drag around by the chain. with a dash of sylvan from fallen divine with the malevolent voice of a powerful ancient entity in our head part
love dark fantasy, this is some good stuff! cant wait to burn the jerks that made us who were to nothing but ashes in the wind, or maybe turds in the wind for a venom reference considering our bond with the crazy dragon voice. no lethal protector here, were gonna finish what we started 300 years ago and i doubt anyone can stop us this time (especially if ruby and walls are along for the ride)
oh yeah, five and nine’s names get revealed a bit earlier than they should, maybe fix that little bug

Small mistake here: I chose for my character to be female, not male.
Would it be possible to put an ‘in-between’ option here? Something that appreciates the aesthetic beauty of the armor without reveling in the implied power it represents?

you know thinking about it, we’re closer to knull than venom in terms of power and induced dread. so instead of just killing the royal couple, the general and the scientist, we’ll leave them barely alive, limbless and imprisoned, and in the words of the king in black himself, their world will burn and they…WILL WATCH!
please tell me well get to do this, a satisfying vengeance crushing their very souls with suffering and despair would be a punishment fitting their crimes.bonus points if we can use our fancy azgor powers to make them relive that over and over again for all eternity while we relax on the ash pile with our buddies
also just wanna say azgor is hilarious, he may be an all powerful psychotic, sadistic and egotistical murderhobo (literally squatting in our head rent free) hell bent on endless chaos and destruction but also one of fives closest allies and a total riot with his sense of humor and occasional accidental incompetence. hopefully he wont mind if four and nine arent included in the kill and/or torture and/or subjugate list consisting of pretty much the rest of the population.

I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’m not sure if you’ll be able to do everything you have in mind, but you can rest assured there will definitely be a path for an “evil” playthrough.

Oops, sorry about that! I really hate when those kinds of mistakes slip through—it pulls you out of the story and breaks the immersion, for me at least. I’ll fix it right away, thanks so much for pointing it out.
And about that choice—that’s a great idea! I’ll add an in-between option in the next update.

hey as far as the king queen and their pawns are concerned (except maybe the prince but im betting hes just a lying snake just as bad as them) azgor and five are the lesser evil. the real evil route would be to side with them.
i do hope the revenge route isnt too much for ruby and walls to stick by us though. if need be we can tone it down just a bit for their sake, im sure azgor can deal with it as long as blood still flows…or maybe we can corrupt our buddies too?
have ya ever played soul nomad? im thinking something like that ones demon route (azgor really reminds me of gig) would be “too” evil but maybe dialing it down just a bit from that (like only brutalizing soldiers and nobles and the people that tortured us instead of committing war crimes on innocent civilians too) would be enough to keep ruby and walls on our side, even if azgor gets a little grumpy about it

The Warden’s powers are still a mystery—even to themselves. So far, we’ve only seen what they can do almost instinctively. Who knows how much of the Black Dragon’s power they’ll be able to tap into in the future…
And I’m also a fan of dark revenge stories! Like I mentioned before, I’m not sure if you’ll be able to do absolutely everything you’re hoping for, but rest assured there will definitely be a path for that.
As for Azgor—he’d never admit it—but deep down, way deep down, he does have a tiny soft spot for the other experiments, since they each inherited a fragment of his power, no matter how small. But just how far that sentiment goes… well, that’s a good question. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how he reacts when the time comes.

There will definitely be different levels to the revenge route. Maybe you’ll decide to simply walk away, letting the royal family deal with their own problems. Or maybe you’ll want to take revenge on them personally. And if that’s not enough, perhaps you’ll aim to carve out your own kingdom—or even go further, letting your thirst for blood consume everything and watching the world burn… who knows.
I’m not entirely sure yet how far you’ll be able to push these paths. I really want to offer as much freedom as possible, but the sheer amount of branching it would require might be a bit beyond what I can manage right now. I can’t give a concrete answer this early on, but I’ll definitely do my best to make it possible.

well besides that soft spot i do bet he’d be willing to do what the other experiments want in terms of not murdering everything if they help him and by extension five beat malenia blade of miquel- i mean arael this time around instead of things going the other way around. but well give her a swift death since shes still an epic hero and save the suffering for the royal family and co
glad to see well have control over our revenge too, i dont think walking away is something my five would do after all they did to them and more importantly their friends (i am so ripping both of the generals eyeballs out of his sockets and sticking them up his butt) but why go after innocents when there’s plenty of guilty folks to torment already? on the flipside, going full murderhobo sounds great too, thanks for giving us the choices! hopefully you can keep up with writing and coding em all lol.
dont pressure yourself tho, id be fine with walking away too as long as our buddies and azgor would be with us (even if azgor would be pissed) and with your crazy good writing i trust you can deliver a satisfying ending no matter the route

Hmm… that would be difficult. Arael has gone through a lot. I’m not sure if you’ve tried her romance route yet, but she’ll reveal more about her past and everything she’s been through as the story progresses. Because of those experiences, she struggles deeply with trust. If you fight back and escape her, she’ll see you as an enemy—especially since she can already sense Azgor’s presence in you—and the two of you wouldn’t be able to form a real bond.
That said, if you keep her existence a secret, you might have a chance to recruit her as an ally later on. I’m still figuring out the specifics, but if you reveal her existence to Zatus and his soldiers, things with her will definitely be over.

I really love this its crazy how i had a similar idea the other day and to read something better is amazing. Will you be adding sum customization? Height hair length nd eye color. Maybe make the snow white hair our kind’s signature colore. And whatever colore we choose the color of the true dragon azgor. Keep our siblings the red color. And during the flight training after the talk with the prince its stayed that we cant fly or use our tail if im not mistaken but during the fight against the dragon it made sound like we could fly even stay afloat. Im wondering if i comprehend that wrong. And i hope princess is a ro

Hey, thank you! I’m really glad you’re enjoying it. I do plan to add more customization options in the future—the only two things that won’t be changeable are the red eyes and snow-white hair, since those are a result of the experiments and having Azgor’s power inside them.
I think I explained things a bit poorly there; I’ll definitely revise that scene later. What the Warden did in the fight against the dragon was more of a powerful jump, using their wings to help with the ascent and hover briefly. True flight—like maneuvering around and landing—is still beyond their abilities at that point.
As for the prince and princess, both are planned to be romanceable options down the line!
