Thank you! I’m really glad you’re enjoying it. And yes, the MC will live much longer than a normal human due to the changes Azgor made to their body. Exactly how much longer is uncertain, since nothing like this has ever happened before — but maybe Cassiel will be able to uncover more about it in the future.

Ima say this then im going back to reading. Im glad we can get poly now bc my angel wife and midget dragon wif are a must. Im also curious about lyra she seems interesting. Havent read that far bc i was busy with life and now have a juicy 4 updates to read thru. I was hoping to fight Arael nd stil talk to her afterwards got that too. Im also interested in her bond lyra. It would be cool if you chose a poly with those two the “bond” changes to a more intimate one and a regular friendship if you solo or poly with one and someone else or keep it a one night stand type of thing. Its not uncommon for long lifespan beings to have a lover that was another highborn. Hell i would love to see the on id’s face when walks up on his creation getting kissed all over by two princesses, being his sister lmao. And the shit eating grin mc gives him will be priceless. And the fact that Arael falls inlove with the literal vessel of the dragon that killed her ppl. I cant wait to see her internal turmoil with that fact.
Ive seen alot of people think and label asgor as the eveil granted is is i love him as that but when i read the azraelian lore andCas’s lore irealize that they been hunting, killing and experimenting on the dragons long before he attacked. But from Arael’s pov bc she was young Az is just an evil dragon who destroyed her kingdom for no reason. Im hoping we declare ourselves as a new species. Im enjoying the so much

Hey, I’m glad you’re enjoying it! And yeah, Arael and Lyra have an interesting bond. They used to be close, but while Arael spent most of her time afterward in complete isolation, Lyra went on to meet a lot of people—her work even revolves around negotiating and socializing with different groups. So there’s a big imbalance in their relationship now. It’ll definitely be interesting to see how it develops—and how the MC might influence it.

Yeah, no major empire is completely good. The Aurelians absolutely considered themselves a superior species, and the dragons weren’t the only ones who suffered under their rule. Whether that’s connected to Azgor’s conflict with them is unknown, though—he’s never been very willing to talk about his past before that war.

So finally finished reading ( yes ima slow reader and get distracted alot) and i love the first chapter and have some head cannon now that seen azgor’s behavior in a seen that wont name. And ima leave it at that for author until the time comes. Or if RGHV wants to hear it. But i gotta say i love locked in Arael is for mc. Found that shit to adorable. I hate horns but ima sucker for her that when she complimented them im like " yea they do make look badass and kingly huh?" And damn the flirting infront of my other wife Ruby without her joining hurt. I was hoping she could join. Im thinking maybe a pov from Ara’s noticing how W, R or Z looks mc. And having a talk about it then the two talks to mc or sum. Just ideas.
And i like how its pretty everyone’s first time other the humans. Ly is to focused on diplomatic affairs so at most a fling for her. Cas is to focused on science, mc ,R, and W were used as weapons, so makes sense (maybe excluding T) the humans are experienced.
Lastly azgor feels like a grumpy old dad/grandfather love that.

And yeah, most of the ROs are pretty inexperienced when it comes to romance, i thought that might fit better with a MC like the warden. Ruby, Walls, and Arael have zero romantic experience. Zatus and Lyra have had a few encounters here and there, but nothing that ever turned serious. As for Cassiel, Ecbert, and Theresa… well, their pasts are still a mystery.

Lol bet. Thats why i wasn’t gone say nothing because I didn’t want you to confirm but [spoiler]based off of how Azgor got crazy defensive and guarded when i chose to ask him if he had mate[/spoiler]. I can guess that the Australians killed his mate. Probably one reason he crashed out on them. And yea i thought it made since for most ROs too given how the lore is. Take your time im enjoying this.

You know, Azgor says if he removes the horns, we could get something even crazier, like fangs or something. But I think my character would be neat with fangs. Will we get fangs?
I also have to wonder, since the huge warships the old empire had were powered by dragon cores, could we use Azgor’s to build like, a ridiculously huge capital ship?

It’s not that removing the horns would give the MC fangs—rather, the horns are just one way the dragon aspect has physically manifested in their body. Since the transformation has already begun, Azgor could remove the horns, but the draconic traits would eventually emerge in a different form. It’s no longer something he—or the MC—can undo. And yes, you will have the option to delve deeper into this power. As you do, the MC’s body will gradually become more draconic, so fangs (and other features) may definitely become part of that transformation down the line.
As for using Azgor’s core to build a massive ship—that’s a bit more complicated. Dragon cores retain the dragon’s power, and sometimes even their consciousness, if they refuse to move on. That power is what gets harnessed to fuel the enchantments that keep floating ships—or even islands—aloft. Azgor’s core would have been powerful enough to keep a floating island larger than the old imperial capital in the air.
However, that power was drained when Azgor left his core to merge with the Warden. So, at this point, his old core is just a massive, empty crystal. But hypothetically, if his powers were still stored in it—and if someone had the knowledge and skill to construct a vessel capable of tapping into it—then yes, it absolutely could have worked.

So if the mc keep doing this, would the mc eventually becomes a full dragon(or at the very least, something like a dnd dragonborn)? Asking because I would love to play as a (eventual) dragon mc, but i would rather stay fully human if its just human but with horn/fangs/wings etc.

I was thinking that to love dragons but they’re size is big debuf. It added to power but slowes, eats up energy, and has to many blindspots so you just become a big easy target. I prefer the more human dragon form
