Just wanna say I love your game and I found the unwanted warrior forum but where’s the demo
? Idc if it’s been discontinued it sounds good
You know what ould be cool? Is very rare to happen in IFs, but is quite common in books, if the amount of scars increased the more our MC was of more “physical” alignment, such as someone who practices a lot with weapons, rides horses a lot, or when we are adults, go into battles, and the characters reacted to that. It’s something that I believe I’ve never seen in other games, scars are usually just cosmetic, I would like a game where they were something more, kind characters have a reaction of being worried, while those who are more adventurous are more fascinated and they ask what the story of a scar is, this detail would be beautiful to see.
Every game where I have the opportunity to leave a scar, I do, because I like to imagine that there is a story there. And people reacting to this opens up so many possibilities for interesting and different conversations.
Oh thank you , Well I replay the demo or used to in the Wayback machine site, because well when the author submitted the game took it down (idk if it is a must when submitting a game)
That’s something quite interesting to add actually, I loved that what you said about a scar having a story to which other characters will react differently depending on their personality, that’s what I want to bring up to the game, not just with scars, but if MC has a distinct characteristic it will be commented on it, so it won’t feel like it’s not acknowledged such as: the heterochromia trait, freckles, being left handed, scars and stuff like that.
I know it will be a lot of work but I want the game to be something that I will enjoy and so will you.
Which one of the maps would you say is the most accurate, and how is someone called the Impaler king looked upon by the nobility and commonfolk?
Well you see, the one I made with Azgaar was one of the earlier versions from my notes sketch, then Inkarnate, till Wonderdraft that was the “final” version, so yeah wonderdraft is the most accurate one.
Well it’s more of like the perception of the Impaler King among the nobility and commonfolk, is one of fear, awe, and trepidation.
The Impaler King is both feared and admired in the realm. Among the nobility, there are those who respect his ruthlessness and strength, while others form alliances out of fear or opportunity. Now the commonfolk have mixed feelings, with some viewing him as a protector ensuring stability, while others live in terror under his oppressive rule (particularly in regions where the King’s rule is more directly felt). His legacy is one of violence, contributing to the realm’s folklore (Songs and stories are sung, both in awe and in horror, elevating his infamy.), and his methods certainly will impact the kingdom’s governance even after his rule. The realm as for now is characterized by a delicate balance of fear, loyalty, and political calculation.
Like Vlad the impaler?
Indeed, in this story there are plenty of characters that are based off on historical figures.
hey author, the game keeps looping after interacting with the cousins @Haydenigmatic
Thanks for letting me know, I’ll see if I could get that fixed along with the update
But now that I’m here, I’ll ask for your advise in a little something, you see guys I’m working on the celebrations held not only for MC’s name-day but also for the start of the season in which the twins were born. And I’m thinking on how it could affect the stats choosing one of these:
This day happens to be your name day and also
The…
#Spring Equinox: a celestial occurrence where day and night share equal time. It marks the transition from winter to spring, when nature awakens from its slumber.
*set birth "spring"
*comment This option increases the optimism trait and decreases the stability trait.
It is believed of people born under the sign of the Green Dragon, the symbol of spring, wood, green, and benevolence. to be cheerful, creative, and generous, always seeing the bright side of things. However, they are also prone to mood swings and impulsiveness. Sometimes struggling to balance their emotions and their reason.
#Fall Equinox: signals the end of summer and the arrival of fall. During this time, light and darkness again find equilibrium. Leaves change colour and fall, preparing for the impending cold.
*set birth "fall"
*comment This option increases the stability trait and decreases the adventure trait.
It is believed of people born under the sign of the White Tiger, the symbol of fall, metal, white, and justice, to be calm, balanced, and reliable, always fulfilling their duties and responsibilities. However, they are also prone to conformity and routine. Sometimes finding it hard to leave their comfort zone and explore new possibilities.
#Summer Solstice: is a moment of pure light and vitality. It heralds the zenith of warmth and growth as daylight reaches its longest duration.
*set birth "summer"
*comment This option increases the adventure trait and decreases the patience trait.
It is believed of people born under the sign of the Vermilion Bird, the symbol of summer, fire, red, and passion, to be outgoing, sociable, and daring, always seeking new experiences and challenges. However, they are also prone to impulsiveness, boredom, and anger. Sometimes finding it hard to control their impulses and wait for the results.
#Winter Solstice: the epitome of darkness, marking the shortest day of the year. It signifies a period of introspection, reflection, and the promise of renewal as days gradually lengthen.
*set birth "winter"
*comment This option increases the patience trait and decreases the optimism trait.
It is believed of people born under the sign of the Black Tortoise, the symbol of winter, water, black, and wisdom, to be introverted, reserved, and thoughtful, always seeking to delve into the mysteries of life. However, they are also prone to depression, anxiety, and isolation. Sometimes finding it hard to express their feelings and relate to others.
The thing is, I don’t know if it should affect the personality, skills, traits, a mix of those or none at all.
If these factors play a minor role, they could add an interesting layer to the character’s background, enriching their narrative. However, if the influence is substantial enough to define the character’s traits and personality, I wouldn’t suggest it.
I think it’s a good idea though I think it’s good to add an option if the MC thinks it describes them well or not there’s another game where the royal family’s motto can do something for your stats but only if you agree with it.
I’m a bit late, but I think that, based on the descriptions, it would make sense if it influenced how the MC is perceived and how different people may react to the MC having a personality that is or is not in line with that.
I enjoyed the story so far! Keep up the good work!
Guys as a writing update I’ve got news, I’ll just say to expect it before the end of this month. All things considered I think things are still quite calm in the story…
That sounds great, an update to battle the field of dryness is exactly what we need, best of luck with that last pull mate.
Hope you’re healthy. Because no news i feel worried
I’m sorry guys, the thing is I’ve been overworked and I hoped to just not say anything and just silently update, you know… when it happens, I mean, it’s just the finishing touches but I really have been unable to allow myself to do so without it interfering with my classes and work, my thesis is just around the corner with my practicum experiences about to become more of a regular thing than they already are, basically I have been almost three weeks deprived from sleep.
The thing is this is not going to stop me, I had continued writing in my scarce free time and wish for Summer Break to come faster so I can fully dedicate to the story, I really need to organise my schedule and find timeee.
Can you tell us what we can expect in the upcoming update?
