The Aether: Life as a God Complete Achievement Guide

Spoilers for the entire game. Here is a complete guide on how to get every achievement on The Aether: Life as a God. In general, you will need a lot of essence to do these so my advice is to hunt daemons as much as possible. And in the beginning, go with Epoch to the fallen god and absorb as much essence as you can to start with about 65 essence as opposed to about 45 if you skip the intro.

Bibliophobia: Successfully resist opening the Book of Poxiziius. Cost about 100 essence.

Beginner’s Luck: Talk to the man trapped in a cave by a beast, choose any option.

Lethargic God: An alchemist will threaten you with a potion in exchange for beauty. Ignore him.

Tough Love: When the feeble man asks for strength, tell him to start a church and either unleash the locusts or smite the people. OR Say you created the plague as punishment when your priest asks you for help and allow your people to shelter within your church. OR Do not allow your worshipers to reach space when they build a spaceship.

The Boy Who Just Cried: A man claims a wolf is eating his sheep, investigate and tell the man you have killed the beast. Do not tell him it was his son.

Merciless: When working for Nothastrus, kill the daemon after he talks to you.

Legends Are Made: Tell the boy who’s mother was captured to become a disciple instead.

Golden Age: Answer all prayers after teaching your worshipers new skills for the third time, the one with electricity, and hunt all daemons during this time.

There Is Now a Level Zero: Skip the intro, teach your worshipers everything, only kill the first daemon when hunting, then attack the slug-daemon and die. Hard to get this one.

Divine Suffrage: Use an Essence Stone on the woman about to be sacrificed.

Reverse Apocalypse: Use an Essence Stone when a priest asks for help with a plague.

Samuel 17: Use an Essence Stone on the feeble man who wants to be stronger.

Knowledge is Power: Use an Essence Stone when making your prophet.

God of Family: Use an Essence Stone on the dead mother of the same boy from Legends are Made.

God of the Sky: Use an Essence Stone on the village about to be hit by a storm.

God of War: Kill at least three gods before the ending.
-Nothastrus and Ylen during the Titan fight.
-Lyciph before the Titan fight.
Contract Summons:
-Ofaldir dies by siding with Nothastrus during their feud.
-Oberon has an attack chance as one of the first options when meeting him. “It was unwise for you to bring me here.”
-Calabius after agreeing to be born as a mortal, do not say he is your dad, then attack.
-Asos after reviewing his commandments, then attack.
*Note, the best fighting choices for Lyciph and Oberon are melee, while the least powerful attack is best for Calabius and Asos, do not choose the most powerful or melee option for them.

Ending: Court God: Leave at least one god alive, Lyciph doesn’t count, and agree to join the Court and rebuild at the end of the game.

Ending: Spawn of Abaddon: Kill all the gods, Lyciph doesn’t count, then leave the daemons at the end of the game.

Ending: Supreme God: Kill all the gods, Lyciph doesn’t count, and rule over the daemons at the end of the game.

Ending: Lone Wanderer: Leave at least one god alive, Lyciph doesn’t count, and refuse to join and go out on your own at the end of the game.

I hope this helps and ya’ll enjoy!
