It’s been a long time coming, hasn’t it? I managed to catch a breather at work and poured that time straight into writing so I... – @theabyssal on Tumblr They threw this out last month.

I love this game can’t wait to see Sol’s POV and what he thinks of what happened to his missing husband/wife

Unfortunately it’s likely going to be a while before we get more, updates are very few and far between and ever around 25k words, if at all. Author still releases shorts on patreon regularly tho

Don’t know if the author checks here anymore, but on the off chance they do I found an error in the latest updated. I was fury dominion and when Leo goes to see their brother the scene abruptly cut off. I checked the code for what should come up and found this.

*elseif (dominion_revenge = true) and (dominion_fury = true)

The and should be an OR. Pretty sure it’s not possible to have both revenge and fury dominions.

After seeing what happened to Nicholas, I assume that Leon’s/Leona’s first encounter with the MC will be hostile, given what happened to their brother, or they may supplicate themself to the MC out of desperation.

Regardless, it’s probable that a major part of their subplot will be uncursing Nicholas. Their relationship will likely start strained since I can imagine Leon/Leona binding themself to the MC’s service in hopes that the MC will cure Nicholas.

I wouldn’t mind having an option to try to cure all of the affected regardless… I kinda feel bad for what happened, and it’s not like we did it on purpose.

Same. Kinda hoping we can be nice and reasonable once we get better and just fix shit without being mean about it.

Giving us the option to mend the consequences and fallout of the MC’s escape would be nice. If you play as a Justice!Death, it would allow you to have the MC hold themself to the same standard they judge others.

So, I noticed an issue. For Death that has vengeance domain but not fury domain, the text skips any scene with Leon’s little brother.

This is because the code is an “and” instead of an “or” check. So it only displays the text if both fury and vengeance are true. But if the reader only has one of these, the code skips straight to Death waking up a second time in Eoin’s house.

especially since our actions resulted in injustice for others that were uninvolved in our issues

i also wonder if Namur foresaw the events that would come and chose to side with the other gods not out of malice but because he knew that if he does not, they may have attempted to actually KILL Death, and everything is a sort of chess match between him and Nemeya, Nemeya wants to usurp Sol’s place and Namur seeks to prevent her from destroying creation as he can see possible futures and is maneuvering things to stop her

I don’t know. I think that’s only partly true, like he would use it as a excuse instead of truly meaning it.

Namur seems to me to have actual grudge and probably a huge ego too, that’s how it reads for me anyway. So the fact that a number of his magic folk on the cusp of defeating mortality suddenly get turned into servants to Death as reapers might really be enough for him to side with the 3 loonies if true. I don’t think we really have enough to go on for most of the gods named yet though.
