Too long, man! I want to find out what happened in the finale gdi ><
Fang Lan, Zhang Bohai, Lin Ninghong, Chang Min, and Liu siblings are the ROs. I don’t think you really need to meet stats like that to romance any of them (unless @SharpOne and @TwoSharp changed stuff after the testing?). It just means that having those stats means you’re more likely to have a higher relationship with them because your decisions tend to lean towards those stats.
@resuri08 Thanks for checking out the demo! As @zenbu stated the ROs are Fang Lan, Zhang Bohai, Lin Ninghong, Chán Míng, Liu Yuan, and Liu Fei. Lin Ninghong and Chán Míng are introduced in chapter 3 (some time after Liu Yuan/Liu Fei) she’s the perky alchemist. As to the traits on the character screen those are just to let you know what kind of person they are using the stats that define the MC. The ROs have deal breakers but what type of trait the MC has isn’t one of them.
@Eric_knight Taking the throne for yourself is an option and marrying one of the Liu siblings is a requirement along with a few other things. You can check out the achievement list to get hints on what’s possible in the game.
You are right…all contest entries are quality novels
Ahhh… She is @Avery_Moore favourite character , i think she is a sociable diplomat and a good healer, she is kind hearted but i feel that she prefer to mix around just to ensure everyone like her as well , the way she advice my MC to join Xaing Yu’s traitorous kings just to show “unity” and she is smart to constantly avoid “perilous” situation…
@zenbu … i never thought Chang Min is an RO , i think Chang Min excel in Xiang Yu’s campaign , since i chose to save the consort… Chang Min lead the army defense against the rebels and traitors , as a result, the soldiers think highly of him and i have a feeling they prefer him to be Xiang Yu’s 2nd in command instead, well at least the consort is grateful and likes me more since i save her…Lol
hahaha… honestly speaking i never thought of my MC’s trait fitting into the RO, i just chose whatever choice i prefer my MC to take I especially like my choice of interaction with Fang Lan, i let her rant and after she stop, i lecture her with some moral lesson…Lol surprisingly, she follow me non-stop afterwards and plead me to take her as apprentice … i notice there was an option to slap her, but i wonder who had the heart to do that ? and will Fang Lan still follow the MC after getting slap ?
as for Liu Yuan, i think she has the trait of future empress , i like the way she lecture her brother and her promise to write me a letter if her brother disobey her…it was “adorable”
as for Liu Fei, i think he is similar to Jon Snow … honourable and willing to let his sister Sansa take the decision making
I think Liu Fei won’t disobey Liu Yuan , Jon Snow was lucky because Sansa didn’t even want to be queen… but Liu Yuan seems prefer to take the throne herself one day, it will be interesting if you can convince Liu Fei otherwise
i haven’t encounter such Romance difficulty so far, so that’s a new experience to know about it
Doing as she asks, I sit beside her and stuf my mouth with whatever’s in reach. It’s rare we get to go to China’s beautiful capital at this time of year so we’ve come to a stop, allowing ourselves to rest and tidy up.

The fourth set shows the strategist Yǒngshì. Seekers of truth and seers of the spiritual path, no secrets are safe from them. Blessed with an innate appeal to others, these lie detectors can walk another’s spirt path to find all past secrets. Should anyone try to flee their reach, they’ll not escape their gaze as they can dissociate from their bodies and see the world from a whole new perspective.

Suddenly the door slides open. Li Fen smiles cooly in the doorway. “Pardon the interruption, but it is time for you to tend to your husband my lady.”
coolly
My first impression can be a slap? Gasp That’s even better than the attempted murder one.
@Eric_knight Thank you for the awesome feedback on all those characters! I think they’re rather accurate. In later chapters, because of all the time skips, some people’s attitudes/personalities will change, but not drastically so.
As for the throne, Liu Yuan is not afraid to campaign for her own right to the throne, but she’ll also help the PC should you decide to go for it yourself or put another person on the throne entirely.
Liu Yuan and Liu Fei often have different viewpoints, which can make it more difficult (but not impossible) for both of them to like you unless you’re romancing one of them. Both will get a huge bonus to your relationship if they believe you make their sibling happy. As for the PC influencing their relationship… they don’t get mad at each other just you
Yes; gender is not a deal breaker for any RO (also you can choose to get married or not and just commit to a long term relationship). For example, Lin Ninghong’s deal breakers are children (adoption or biological) and a sexual relationship; if you don’t want/agree to those things she breaks it off. All ROs will state their deal breakers in chapter 4 when it’s time to commit to the relationship (or end it).
@Dark_Stalker Thanks for spotting/reporting those typos! We’ll have them fixed soon (hopefully). In the original demo the default response was to just slap Fang Lan into silence, but it was pointed out during our beta test that not everyone wanted to do that… can’t imagine why though
Not really much of a change, the options still seem pretty aggressive, which is fun for me. Telling someone about the meaninglessness of their life to others is also a great first impression.
I should’ve suspected something when the horses came up.
I have no idea who you’re talking about. I have never rescued a red headed vampire with a robo hand. In case that’s what Felton looks like. It was just me and Mia, and I put my complete faith and trust in her and in no way wandered off without her permission.
Kind of lucky I suppose since I’m planning to pair my MC with Liu Fei. =D Having a good relationship with your soon to be sister in law would make life more easier.
Currently my MC has the following stats:
Honorable: 56% Devious: 44%
Altruistic: 62% Egocentric: 38%
Forgiving: 55% Vindictive: 45%
So she might get along a bit of them both. =D
Better be careful then.
I can understand why the beta tester did so. I kind of don’t want to slap people around.
@No_This_Is_Patrick Fang Lan’s deal breakers are that she must have children and in a later chapter you can’t betray her trust (whether you are married or in a committed long term relationship she’ll end things if you betray her).
@Dark_Stalker If it helps, all other ROs couldn’t care less if they have kids or not Zhang Bohai will even break things off if you want kids.
I guess it has been a long time since the link has even been playable, but good news is now that this project is pretty much done (save for some final touches and fixes) I’ve returned to working on For Peace We Die as my primary project. However, I’ve been bogged down by trying to make the coding of that game more efficient and with a few revisions here and there.
@resuri08 While the traits aren’t deal breakers themselves they can help you get a small boost in relationships depending on what traits you have. For your combo (and starting in chapter 4) Lin Ninghong will get a bonus since your MC and Lin Ninghong would have the most similarities. Of course, this isn’t a make or break feature and the traits are mostly for checks/unlocking dialogue.
