@resuri08 Good news is that this boost is somewhere around 2 points (very very small); it really serves as a reward for having a certain mix of traits. Also, having Lin Ninghong as a friend (or at least an ally who doesn’t hate you) has it’s benefits as she can help make certain tasks easier.
@Vanessa_Pang and for anyone else who wants to know the deal breakers/break ups:
Fang Lan: wants children, do not betray her
Zhang Bohai: never have children
Liu Yuan: accept her asexuality (this doesn’t mean no sex (although she’s thrilled if that’s the case), but respect her boundaries)
Liu Fei: accept his close bond with Liu Yuan and you agree to have a sexual relationship
Chán Míng: NONE!
Lin Ninghong: wants children and to have a sexual relationship with you
Also, if you marry someone who isn’t your RO that is a universal deal breaker!

That’s good to hear at least. XD I don’t mind Ninghong being my MC’s friend though. 
I think I could manage Liu Fei deal breakers. XD I don’t know much about Chan Ming and Liu Fei though so Liu Fei isn’t my final RO but so far, my MC is leaning towards at the moment.

It is either Fang Lan or Liu Yuan for me … although i am leaning towards Fang Lan 
we are both Mystics and i told her she will be Legend one day 
Same with me, she seems a loyal friend for us … 
Stick with Jon Snow… Liu Fei will be fun to be around

Played the demo yesterday and I really liked it, especially the way that the dialogue was executed: I picked up the ‘smart ass’ option and would get lines of banter in regular dialogue, nice job. I would recommend adding a save option so that the player’s progress isn’t completly lost-

i missed the start of this game hmm, i want to ask though , @SharpOne @TwoSharp is Chen Yongrui a possible romance or is she too old for the mc?
so far is the only interesting charácter for me in a romance appealing, atleast in the demo

@resuri08 If you plan on playing a more political route then it’s best to have as many friends as possible because they provide opportunities to succeed should your skills fail.
@FitzRoy Thank you for the feedback! We worked hard to try to make the dialogue both interesting but also neutral so it wouldn’t contradict (for the most part) whatever personality was chosen.
The save system… 
I tried to implement one during our beta test, but something must have been lost in translation because I could not figure it out. Tale of Two Cranes is a long game so I hope to have a save system eventually, but, right now, it’s not high on the priority list. I’ve seen a few topics on the subject pop up recently so there’s hope that I’ll understand in the future.
@anon4518890 Chen Yongrui is not a romance option and the reason has nothing to do with her age. One reason is that your relationship has an uneven distribution of power as she is your master and you are her apprentice. This also means that she cares for you much like a guardian or parent. The second reason has to do with the fact that she is both aromantic and asexual, which is addressed in a later chapter when the idea of marriage is first introduced.
Which reminds me! I don’t think @TwoSharp or I have mentioned that it’s also possible to have an arranged marriage (to either a man or woman), which can greatly help you politically. This relationship doesn’t get the full RO treatment, but there are a few interactions here and there. So if the possible ROs don’t do it for you, you can still find someone to spend the rest of your days with while gaining political status as well.

Don’t worry though… I plan to befriend as much as I can. You can’t go for a political route without allies. XD
But if I don’t plan a political route will this affect our relationship with the Liu siblings?

(i loved the romance of Toriumi ( teacher/student in persona 3), dunno if you played the game but that character was just too funny and cute)
