Were you confused by this line?

And that was that, for the next 80 years or so you would be doing that job. You could always count on retirement of course but what are the odds of that being around when you get there?

It doesn’t mean you’re 80 or anything. Your MC is as old as you want them to be, so long as they’re an adult. If I absolutely had to give a number, it’d be between 20’s and 30’s, as that’s the age range of your group.

Now that I look at it, that’s a bit ominous. I saw a couple isekai posts and they’re all dead. Must be a cursed genre. :cold_sweat:

I have two questions, what powers does the clown power trait hold and why can’t the mc use necromancy if the have the undead master trait?

Currently it gives +1 strength. In the future, maybe something more.

Mc is a fraud who can’t control the things he reanimates.

Slightly disappointing but makes sense. Thank you for the feedback!

Hello, can you change a mentor or does it depend on MC’s stats? I also noticed people mentioning ROs. Who are they, if it’s not a secret? Do they also depend on MCs gender?

Hello there, to answer your questions.
1)Nope, Arthur is always the one who trains you. It’s like this because I thought personalized training makes more sense given the deadline. (And Arthur neglects you, which frees the player up to do what they want during the day.)

2)ROs in my plans are currently:
Elias, Hero
Luca, Hero
Gavin?, Hero
Victoria, Your executioner
Nria, The princess
???, R̶e̶d̶a̶c̶t̶e̶d̶
Myrr, Scientist

3)As for genders, yes. Boys go for girls, girls go for boys.

Well, all of these besides the 3rd are subject to change of course.

I also noticed that after I check stats and return to the game my stats add-ons (random points I gained during the training on the previous page, before visiting stats page) are randomized. And once I reach the point where a text states: 11 days are remaining and then suddenly to 14 days have passed game over page. I also have some problems with quick saves at times.

The training button in the hub is a placeholder. I’ll get rid of it eventually, don’t worry about it. (Returning to stat page and back to game is a common exploit in CS games)
The game doesn’t have 14 days at the moment because I didn’t want to have players waste their time. I’ll add more days as I update the game. (Guess I’ll add an additional message that explains the demo is over next update)

Quicksaves would probably be beyond my help. It’s all a plugin I simply slotted in, best I can say is keep a backup you know you can return to.

Thanks for playing!

ā€œI don’t need your help to deal with these goblins.ā€

how can I choose this choice?

Currently, only when you don’t introduce yourself to the group. It gets ignored, and you switch to the charging in scene.

I had other plans for it, but the goblin cave already took so much of my time and it was just not worth it for a tutorial mission.

I was wondering:
Will gender have more of an impact on dialogue, interactions, or narrative flavor in future updates?
Especially since the summoned ā€œheroesā€ are all male, I’m curious if being a female MC will be more clearly acknowledged in party dynamics or world reactions going forward.

I haven’t tried playing as a male MC yet, so I’m not sure if there are differences I might have missed—but from my short playthrough as a female MC, I didn’t notice much of the kind of gender-based variation I was expecting.

But all in all you did perfect!

Could you add a choice during the bandit quest where, when encountering both human and subhuman hostages, the player can choose to kill only the subhumans? The reasoning could be that they’re considered too dangerous and might find a way to escape later on.

Can you please make the demo downloadable?

There’s currently only one scene that changes depending on your gender in the game, which gets you a bit more Luca relations. If you have ideas, feel free to share. But yes, I do want both to have differences in the future. Some minor, some major.

I originally put in this option, even killing the humans and sparing the subhumans. But ended up deciding it might be too dark or a bit ā€œracially motivatedā€ territory  I’ll think about it. At least I’d have plausible deniability now, right?

You can download the demo now. I figured it out.

The demo already touches on racially sensitive themes, it’s pretty clear from the writing that humans aren’t really friendly with sub-humans. That alone opens up choices. Our character could either support that system, with reason behind it, or oppose it. If they oppose it, then as heroes, they could choose to ignore the problem and think, ā€œI’ll never change their minds, so I’ll handle it myself.ā€ That could create tension between the otherworlders and the people of the isekai world. Alternatively, they might that the stance, ā€œAs a hero, I have a responsibility to try and change their perspective, to show the humans that the demihumans aren’t monsters.ā€

By the way if the mc is an undead master does that mean they are literally a skeleton? Or are they some other type of undead with their skin still intact? And if they are a skeleton how does the transformation potions from Myr work on a skeleton?

You’re right. It’s probably worth adding back in. This ā€˜subhuman’ development is actually a recent trend in this world, I’ll get into it slightly next update.

They’re a skeleton. I’ll change that scene for liches I guess.

Ohh ok sorry for the inconvenience I was just confused.

It’s no trouble, I’d actually prefer you point out any inconsistencies.
